Hey ladies,

any lotions and or bathing products you swear by and recommend?

I dont really want to buy any Johnsons products and willing to spend more for the higher ranges IF they are worth it.

I massively recommend child's farm. It's the only stuff which didn't give my dd eczema. Other thing was aveeno especially the baby eczema therapy stuff from Amazon. I tried so many different brands these suited my girl best. I hated the johnsons stuff it reacted so baby for her and me as I didn't want to waste it lol.

Agree no to johnsons, it's full of crap! We've always used cussons mum and me and been fine or Aveeno if we had an eczema flare up. Just also had happened to try him with Childs farm and agree with Aimee it's good x

Any Johnsons product brings my daughter out in a rash. I use the Simple baby range as I use their products for myself.

I wouldn't even bother with products to begin with.

I like Child's Farm and Dove (use them for the toddler)

That said my fave shampoo out of the loads that we have tired is Johnsons - the yellow shampoo - but I've never used it until they are a bit older.

x

I love to use French brand La Roche Posay. Especially, this brand has great cleansing oil, called Lipikar. I do recommend to try.

Same as Mel. We just used water without any products until he was about 16 months. All my other friends were faffing around constantly changing products because their babies were reacting to them. We just didn’t bother. We started using shampoo and making bubbles a few months ago and now we just use child’s farm. It’s a bit pricier than other brands but you don’t need much so it lasts for ages.

It's not recommended to use products on newborns, just water as others have said. I'd personally avoid all products until 6 months - we did with my 2nd and he's got lovely skin x

what about when you give your baby an oil/cream massage? Still just a water wash?
