Ahh Nikki I'm so pleased your scan went well!! Sorry you're feeling rough but as you say it does sound more like a bug than pregnancy. Hope you feel better soon.

I was exactly the same when we finally caught. I wanted to keep up with everyone here as I was and still am rooting for every single one of you here but at the same time I was worried that my posts would upset people.

Thanks moomin. I'm in for another day on the sofa. Try and pull myself round before final boxing day sale preparation at work tomorrow and Mon x

Oh no, poor you, hope it goes away before Xmas just make sure you try and keep hydrated if you can. If not and it gets too bad, call 111 for some advice. Best to be on the safe side. Xx

Thanks peony. My appetite is weird cos my stomach pains feels like hunger...reminds me of when I had a poorly tummy in Egypt. But I'm on the fruit today and keeping up the fluids....hopefully they will stick today x

Glad you’re able to have some fluids...that’s always the worst if you can’t even stomach water. Just don’t go back into work if you’re not fully better....I’ve made that mistake too many times now! Especially if you work in retail, it’ll be a busy, exhausting day and you don’t want to be poorly for Xmas! Sorry, I’ll stop nagging you now lol

Really starting to feel festive now! Braved the shops this morning, it was really busy but we actually had fun! Now going to finish wrapping presents while watching Xmas films

So yesterday was our 5 year wedding anniversary. We had our guests write us messages on the day that we would open on years 1,5,10 and15.

So we opened a jar of messages last night and most of them were some variation of ‘I hope you have kids by now’ it was actually a little more heartbreaking than pleasant this time and just reminded me of ttc which I was trying to forget for a minute. Then I started spotting and cramping this morning so af is on her way...

How is everyone? It’s a bit quiet in here at the minute x

What a lovely idea iris....I'm sorry it was so painful for you. None of us realise at the beginning how hard this journey will be and would ever think twice about leaving similar messages for friends. I would now....I'm even thinking twice about how we announce because I know how painful I have found some other announcements.

Hope u had a relaxing Xmas and have some good new year plans. Mine is work work work....oh the joys. Xx

Thanks, Nikki, yes they are all innocent and meant with the best intentions and you’re right I would have probably done something similar myself at a wedding.

Christmas was good, still enjoying the Xmas new year limbo, lots of lazy days and snacks and visiting friends and family, it’s not been a bad one so far xx

Yes thankfully woke up on boxing day finally feeling like a human again. Altho it was short lived as nausea has kicked in now. Nothing too bad just there in the background....snacking and avoiding big meals seems to be the ticket. Just off to Lidl to stock up on nuts and healthy snacks x

Hope everyone had a lovely Christmas. It was nice for me to be able to forget all things ttc for a few days. Gonna try my best to enjoy New Years and not let af spoil it. I’m due on either New Year’s Eve or New Year’s Day and I had some spotting on Friday (none yesterday which was nice!!) so I know I’m out, but it’s still rubbish to be in this part of the month. Just wanna move on to the next cycle now!
I have a new plan for 2019 to seriously get myself as healthy mentally and physically as I can be. So that way if it comes to ivf I know I’ll have done everything I can.

Wishing everyone who is still waiting for their bfp lots of luck for 2019 x

Ladies, this is the most diluted urine ever, the postman literally arrived with a test 5 minutes after I’ve peed so there were about 3 drops on the stick BUT there is a faint positive, can you see it? I’m going to retake one later.

We have guests staying over so I can’t tell dh and we are throwing a nye party tonight so somehow I need to get away with not drinking!

I’m shaking!

Just hopping onto this thread to say yep I definitely see that! That’s a BFP for sure, it would probably have been much darker too with stronger urine, congratulations what wonderful news, wishing lots of luck to the other ladies on this thread for a bfp soon too xx
