Ladies just over

i know this is totally random but... my monthly visitor has arrived. feels so weird. i kinda missed it but now the whole pregnancy thing is officially over. felt a bit emotional. and no pain whatsoever. weirdest thing ever it doesnt normally hurt like hell but does hurt obv nothing compared to labour but nothing xxc

Mind me asking how long it took to arrive after the pg bleed stopped?

AF has arrived for me today as well...didn't expect that at all! Esp since I am on cezerette (sp!) progesterone pill since 3 wks post birth and breastfeeding...went on pill as u can never be too careful in my mind. Abstinence just might not be safe enough, love my boy but no.2 ain't coming anytime soon iykwim!! I was 4.5 weeks post birth.

I've had a screaming monster for 2 hours :wall: :trouble:

So sorry to hear that honey, hope he calms down soon and u gives u a break and some sleep.

We r moving house this week, I feel totally useless as am looking after Fin mostly and find it hard to pack and can't carry heavy things still after the section. My folks r being fab and my OH Jas taken Friday off now to crack on so we will be done by Sunday. Advice to anyone our there-don't move with a newborn! Knew I was daft! Fin was really unsettled today and hardly slept at all which didn't help! Hope he's better tomorrow.

pill didnt work with me. thats what got me here in the first place lol. i might go back on injection stopped over two years ago lol it took me roughly 3.5 weeks to completely stop xxx

Has he still got colic then? I didn't think breastfed babies got colicbut a friend who BF told me her LO got terrible colic..babies are so random! Hope he settled and you got some sleep :hugs: xx

Word of warning. When ur OH holds a baby going off to sleep, don't let him sneeze!

My OH can't sneeze quietly to save his life it has to be a loud dramatic sneeze.. Scared the crap out of Lily and she screamed her head off bless!!

Haha aww poor Tyler and Lily!
Jayne I've been using colief drops for Phoebe's colic and its worked wonders, she's been so contended lately. She still has the odd bout of it though but nowhere near as bad :)
I hope he gets better soon :hugs: xxx

Updates on my electrical breast pump: it works, and it's great! So much easier than the manual one, and I have a free hand as well. Cool stuff. Vince is mainly drinking from bottles these days as it's so much quicker, otherwise he'd be attached to me for hours.

Quick question started using Infacol because Jonah started to show colic symptoms a few days ago. However it's not made much difference so far. I read up on colief too which seems to work a different way. How do I know which one to use for the best? Don't want to go swapping and changing for the heck of it.

Infacol worked great for my first two and niece and nephew.. But all babies are different so maybe give it a few more tries then switch?

Had a great time expressing this morning.. NOT!! I lost at least an ounce not realizing it wasn't going in the bottle it was pouring onto my bra underneath and soaked it through grrrrrr

I tried Infacol at first but I made the mistake of just giving it when she was upset I didnt realise you had to give it at every feed and that it can take a few days to build up in their system. I tried it for a week or so and it didnt suit so we switched to colief drops. I'd say give infacol a week. Different things suit different babies :) hope the colic eases soon, it's awful xx

Lol!! It's horrible isn't it!!

Yeah give it a week at every feed and see how u go..x

As u all know lilyanna sleeps ALOT and hvs say it's fine etc, just I usually put her to bed at 10-10 but the past two nights it's been 9-10 then 8:30-10... I want to take it back to 8 then maybe half 7 but I don't want to leave her til ten am or wake her for a feed in the morning.. Do u think it's ok 8-10???

Just wondering, girls, how much do you express in one session? I always have this latent panic that it's not going to be enough for baby!

In A&E with shortness of breath. Have to stay in overnight. It's killing me being away from Jonah. Posting here coz you guys are prob the closest to having an idea how Im feeling. I just want to be with my baby. Sorry for the offload.
