Haha, I drank so much yesterday. Was perfectly full at 9am. By 12.40 I had emptied my bladder and refilled it again 3 times, lol.

My bladder was so full that I was really scared I would pee my pants! I run out to toilet as soon as she was done while the pics were printing

It's super painful when your bladder is so full and they press really hard in to get a good angle! X

At every scan so far, I've had to let some out first. Yesterday, she actually said it was my bladder getting in the way, lol.

Dan was so cute last night. With the ability to see where the baby was depending on where she was scanning yesterday, I can now easily tell were baby is inside me. Lay in bed last night and Dan, who feels very bonded now with the little sausage, lay his hand on my belly and I said I knew where baby was. He said, "Is it under the heel of my hand?"

It was, he was so thrilled that he could tell where it was too. Bless him. It's such a wonderful experience.

I wish they'd just get a move on and give me the date for my first scan! I feel terribly behind all of you haha with your 12 week milestones and you will all be in the second tri and ill be over here all alone hahaha xx

GG that is beautiful! My OH never really bonded with DD until she was born and then BOOM! in love haha. I don't think he will be doing a lot of belly rubbing this time either, silly man! x

Well the scan went well, baby is in the right place and we saw the heartbeat, were not as far as we thought we were thou �� Only 10 weeks 4 days, which is what we worked it out to be in the first place but the doctor put us forward by a few more weeks!!
So we have to go back for the dating scan again on 15th January to get the exact day.
But hey I'm so glad we got to see our little bean, it seems so much more real now.
I drank too much water and I had to empty my bladder as it was squishing the baby lol.

It's definately a wriggler lol he/she was moving around like mad

Awwww look at the little bean!! Glad it went well. Don't worry about being put back, it is only a couple of weeks and you get to see your baby again soon! x

Yeah but they have my booking appointment on the 8th so ...I guess I will have to wait they probably won't do anything. xx

Well I had one uncooperative baby today.

Had almost 45 minutes getting scanned. Baby was in such an awkward place, so far back. Hand was in front of its face for ages too so midwife had a hell of a time getting my measurements for the downs. She was great though. I asked her would I end up not getting them. But she was like " They won't get you another appointment in time so I'm not letting you leave again without getting them done"

Had to jump up and down, shake about, she shook my ultrasound etc, each time making baby end up in a worse position lol. Mortifying especially since I let my MIL come for this scan. Pretty sure she got a great look at my vagina with all the faffing

Got it in the end, NT is 1.8 mm which she said was perfect so I think that's good. Got to see so much of baby this time with all the messing about though. Had a little look at prams after. Feels very real now!!

So here's my stubborn little baby again. Not the best scan pic after all that lol. Baby was having none of it! You see the hand in the pic lol, half the trouble.
