Joshua James arrival - 26th June

Joshua James arrived 26th June at 3.35pm. Turns out back pains I'd had for days were ccontractions and only realised tues evening. Got to hospital at 4cm dilated. Birth plan went pear snapped due to the fact he'd poo'd when they broke my waters. Needed in emergency c section 5 hrs later due to drop in heart rate from 150bpm to 50bpm. I have never been so scared. However they popped him out and he was he was screaming well and ok - chunky monkey too at 10lbs!

Home now, little bit sore but completely in love.

At 10lb it's probably saved you a few stitches having a c section. Sounds scary but they clearly looked after you well. Xxx
