Are you paying for the early scan?? Im so tempted to get one done, just to put my mind at rest but Im not sure?

Hey Vixx, yeah I'm paying for the early scan it is £80. 12 weeks is too long to wait and see if everything's alright in there (and that there's definitely something in there lol!) We also want the early scan before we tell my OH's parents etc. so they know a bit before everyone else but we also have some assurance things are going okay x

I'm paying £95 for my early scan, but it's not that early as I'll be 7+5 then! Was the only time we could get it around hubby''s job. 7th June so only 2 weeks 5 days to go.

Got midwife appt at 7 weeks though as they were full for the next 2-3 weeks so fitted me in earlier than usual.

I have mine booked for 8 weeks on the 31st can't wait ! It was 99 ! But paid 30 deposit so doesn't seem to much on the day to pay lol ! Have t had my booking in appointment through yet I saw the doc three weeks ago when am I likely to hear what's the norm ? Xx

I've got my early scan on 5th June, I'll be 7 weeks and a few days.

Paid £99 too (£39 deposit so pay the balance on the day) it was the same place I had my scan with James so I am hoping it is a good omen.

Hi all

Just wondering what symptoms everyone is having? I'm four weeks but already having loads... Loads of achy type pains, sickness cravings, really dark baby feeder bits.. Really tired and heartburn... Is all this normal so early on? I don't remember it all being this early on with my other two xx hope everyone is tickly boo xxx

I'm going to cautiously join this thread as can't wait hehe got my bfp today on one of the blue dye cross tests and was pretty strong!
i got bfn on a digi though hence being cautious but hoping its just as they are more sensitive! Hoping for a super sticky bean after a m/c at 14 weeks last preg. Due date will be around 28th Jan xx

Rbbwlc, I'm only just turning 4 weeks and got really sore boobs, tiredness and been sick! Also notice I'm smelling things stronger too! I think it can be normal for some people to have symptoms early as every preg is diff xx

Rbbwlc I have had some stretching round ligament type cramps and feel quite tired but that's it so far really. Think my symptoms kicked in around 6-7 weeks last time and I'm just over 5 weeks now so guess it won't be long.

I've got an awful sore throat that's bn playing on me since sun but it's burning....I'm wondering if it's acid reflux x

Hello Millie and Sarah.

It's just weird with my other two I only had one or two signs early this time it's like a mad rush if who can get in first.

I have a feeling it's twins so I too am wondering wether to go for an early scan as I am also diabetic which I am really worried about effecting my icicle bean.. It's all so exciting and so much to worried about. When to doctors to confirm yesterday and have to phone midwives today to register.

Tis a bit of a shock to be going all through this again at my age but such a blessing and am way excited already.

Is anyone else planing to have a c section ? Xx

Rbbwlc, eeek twins would be amazing. Def go for early scan if it will help reassure you, you should be looked after closely anyway with being diabetic shouldnt you?

The next doctors appt at my surgery is in almost three weeks time so i'd be 7 weeks, do you think I should ring up and ask whether I can get put to midwife directly as it may be quicker? Or does telling doc at 7 weeks seem okay?

God I can't keep up with this thread so I will just congratulate everyone.

I have self referred to the MW.

There was an online form I just completed that and posted it (will chase it up early next week if I have not heard anything)

I am going to the same hospital I had James in (hopefully to the birthing centre) and last time I got a letter with my booking appointment and dating scan info by the time I was about 6 weeks. I did see a GP then though and they referred me so I am not sure if self referral is quicker.

To help us keep track maybe the lovely OP can pop all or names and due dates on the first post??
