Morning ladies! Hope you're all okay

No actual morning sickness yet for me, but stomach churning feelings and dizziness so I'm prepared that it will show up soon


I have a day off work and am very sorely tempted to book a private scan today and see if they can see a better white blob than I had on thursday. This is silliness of course, and OH would be less than impressed at me spending £95 to see a white dot. But it's only a phonecall and 20 minute drive away... I'm going to need some big distractions today!!!

I'm 6+3, I have a follow up early scan with the epu booked for the 27th to make sure it has grown and to find a heartbeat... So really I could just wait for that. I think the anticipation has made me more eager to 'keep checking' as such, and today is my only day off between now and then when the nearest private clinic is open to have a sneaky snoop. I'm holding back though...well, trying to!

I have been experiencing cramping too, just like AF pains. I also feel full and bloated and my sense of smell is turning my stomach - all part of the fun though!

I have been experiencing cramping too, just like AF pains. I also feel full and bloated and my sense of smell is turning my stomach - all part of the fun though!

Hey ladies, just tentatively creeping in here, been waiting until tomorrow to do my digi but I keep stalking this thread anyhow! Got my BFP yesterday (first ever) at 13dpo after trying since August. OH and I are over the moon!

Phoned doctor as I didn't have a clue what was going on and they transferred me to midwife services and I already have my midwife appointment on 12th June and first scan 7th July. They told me due date is 16th January. Still a bit shell shocked!!

Look forward to getting to know all you ladies xx

PS there's been a massive wave of BFPs over in ttc the last few days so there should be more following me!!

Wow that was quick to get your appointments through already I saw my doc two weeks ago so hopefully my letter for booking in and scan will come soon!! I've got an early scan booked in for 2 weeks time when I will be eight weeks, my edd is 10 th jan fx for h&h 9months for us all xx

7+1 today and no symptoms, so I still don't feel pregnant!
I've got my first midwife appointment on Monday, I'm looking forward to it, hopefully it will make it seem a bit more real. Then I'm going to look at booking an early scan

I thought it was quick too Kitty, I just wanted to know when I had to make an appointment and before I knew it I had them all made. First question they asked was "where would you like to deliver?" I just said I don't know I haven't even known I'm pregnant for 24 hours, where can I?! x

How exciting all your midwife appointments! I'm holding off until after I know there is a heartbeat.

Managed to save 95 pounds and not book a private scan today. I did phone, but got an answer machine so left it at that.

Is anyone else here a step mum? I ask because when I have to 'chose' where to deliver, I have the option of a midwife unit about 40 mins away, or the hospital about 25mins away in the other direction. I'd prefer the hospital, but am put off that OH's children were both born there. I don't want there to be any 'when I was here with ex wife' crap on the day, or be in the same room. Which sounds a bit daft, but the last thing I want to be thinking about is oh and his ex when it's suppose to be our special moment, then again, nor do I wish to be having my baby ages away from the nearest proper hospital. Ahhh so much to think about!

My first ever digi! Tests are 13, 14 and 15dpo (today!)

I was wondering if people thought it was too early to tell my mum? I live in Edinburgh but I'm from Surrey and my parents still live down there. I'm flying down later this morning as I'm working in London tomorrow. I won't see them in person again until the start of July when I'll be 11/12 weeks which feels too late and I'd rather do it in person than over the phone. Way I see it I'd want her to know if anything went wrong anyway? But don't know if I'm not being cautious enough.....x

Id say 19dpo. Maybe 20? Wasnt actually using opk's this cycle.

We wont tell anyone for a while but only due to our history. If the early scan is ok then I think we'll let people know..

Taboo, I told my mum about 3 hours after my positive test! I figured if anything went wrong with the pregnancy then I would need her support anyway. Not sharing with siblings until after our early scan at almost 8 weeks and then we will share with the wider world after the dating scan at 13 weeks.

There's no way I could not tell my mum really, I'd be itching to say it everytime I saw her!!

Princess I'm itching to tell. I get this funny urge when I'm pregnant to just shout it out to random people. I think it's because you need to keep it secret so it makes me want to say it hahaha.

James has had a cold though so I am not surprised.

Most of the cleaning is done, second wash is on and we're heading out in a bit (just to the shops, I need some new trainers) but we may pop along to the Arsenal parade as it's on route.
