ICSI Cycle 1

[Blondie Em]

Gutted to be typing this but after my first cycle of ICSI, I was due to test on Sunday however; I started the heaviest, most painful bleed on Saturday night which suffice to say ends my hope's of BFP. Have been told I have to wait 6 months (was previously told it was 3 cycles) before we can start again. We both feel absolutely deflated although I knew, in my heart, it hadn't worked.

So I shall not be lurking around these threads for a while, I think I need to focus on my existing little family for a while and get myself to a stronger place psychologically.

I wish every single one of you lots of luck with your journey's and thanks to all of you who have given me advice, encouragement or just a smile when needed, it was much appreciated x

I don't know why they have said 6 months - the standard seems to be two bleeds.

I think you are right to make the most of what you already have, especially over christmas If any time of year can remind you that you do already have a family and just how happy you are, it's christmas
