How are all you new mummies doing?

Toria I think I'm guna have a go on that jackpot joy! I told my hubby about it and he was like get it!!! How much do u pay for one game? It says on their website that if someone one signs u up u both get £20 so let me know if u wanna do that! X

I used to play sun bingo but has to stop because if it arrived away on slots lol

Hope the car seat drama gets sorted for you ladies soon

Weathers been abit mad here too, staying with my partner this weekend and his neighbours trampoline flipped and hit his car then blew down the end of the street. So we're having a quiet weekend in, trying hard to avoid going out in that wind, snow and rain.

Hayleys 2 top teeth are almost ready to cut the gum, really hoping they come thru soon!

OH is building a bookcase and LO just crawled over and started bashing it with her wooden giraffe copying him hammering in the nails! Made us both go 'awwwwwwwww'

Yep snowing here now too. Defo isn't making me happier about S being away! I would far rather just have dinner and go home after that but hubby wants to go to his friends 30th party :-( it's one of those that I'm sure will be fine when we get there x x

I've just been shopping and bought some very girly poxtueeS with a retail of £90 for £21 score me!

On another note we were talking money earlier and hubby asked what my mat leave would be on 4 days, I said it would only be £100 less than my wages cos I get a good package and he goes 'what are we waiting for then?!' And kind of laughed. Think there's a wee opening there where I might convince him not to wait so long to have another! ;-)

Oh really. I joined 9 years ago, when I was bored on mat leave. so it's all changed since them. I can do that if you really want to. I don't want your oh hunting me down for getting you gambling.lol. You've got to be so careful. I might put on £20 a month and it's like lotto. When it's gone, it's gone. But if I win it's a bonus. Pm me your email. And I'll try to figure out how to see the messages.lol

Have a good night out Jen, make the most of it if you're having another soon ;-)

I think I will just have a little go on it and see what I think :) I don't spend any money on hobbies or anything and my hubby plays guitar which as you can imagine is expensive so I won't feel bad if I just spend a tenner for some fun :)

Iv been looking all evening for a bag for ryan for nursery, want to keep his change back separate so it doesn't get all messed up at the weekend. Ended up looking at all sorts of other random stuff and ended up order a nappy changing kit, I saw one ages ago and really wanted it, but had just got a new change bag with a mat in it etc so it seemed a bit silly. Now trying to reduce the contents of Ryan's change bag so it makes sense. ANYWAY lol I'm ordering one from amazon, and in doing so discovered that if u spend £10 and join their family club (30day free trial) you get a free toot toot animals toy! Don't mind if I do :)

So my last period was 27th November and I still havnt come on. Havnt thought much about it as I have been a week late occasionally. It's been a stressful month or so with christening and Xmas etc

Did a test this morning and BAM - positive

Hubby is happy as - I'm not really - I don't think I can do this but I'm aware of form rules.

We have had sex twice by the way since we got out of hospital first December - that's it :(

Oh bex do u think it's the shock? I think I'd feel the same as u at first thinking about money n living arrangements and you have had such an horrendous time with oscar being so poorly maybe once it sinks in? Xxxx

Hubby still out of work
Living with MIL ( however we are exploring going to rent somewhere)
Maternity leave and pay ? I earn so much more than hubby it had a really bad strain on finances.

The only option would be to plead homeless ness via the council but I really don't want to go rent a council house somewhere as the areas around here that are council Arnt great at all.

I am shocked - and keep thinking surely there's a way this would work out - but I just can't see how?

I mean I don't know how tax credits would work or
Anything ? Xx

Couldn't u tell ur mil? Would she help? Isn't staying there an option? I'm not sure about tax credits Hun weren't u on a out Hun stYing off work to look after oscar to save money on nursery fees? Xxxxx

Well seeing as tho you're with MIL at the moment could you not save like crazy to cover your mat leave? And I know you mentioned the possibility of hubby staying off work to have Oscar, could that still work? And with a 2nd?

It will work out bex, it always does somehow. Congratulations first off! Think of how lovely it will be to have two so close together! I think gettin hubby to look after oscar is a good idea to save some money, even if u left him there a couple of mornings a week to still have the socialisation. Can hubby get something from home? Avon, betterware, even a paper round is abit of money? I can add u to a Facebook group for how to feed ur family for £20 a week, it comes up with some fab ideas. You've kept all of oscars stuff too? So even if it's x girl it's got plenty of vests babygrows and jeans that will be fine! X

Congratulations Bex. I'm sure you will work it out - I bet it was a shock though!
