How are all you new mummies doing?

Stace freeze it as liquidy then add a spoonful of baby rice when you defrost - it doesn't taste of anything but thickens up runny purée well :) I use it with oscars strawberry/blueberry purées - or banana works well too :)

I add it to porridge and give it for breakfast if purée is runny - Luke will not tolerate baby rice in any form lol

He got a few stacked but he also threw some around lol - he's learnt that if he swings things around hen lets go they travel FAR! Lol

Yea I add purée to porridge but have lots of different fruit purées so sometimes he has a cube in porridge then 2/3 cubes with a spoonful of baby rice for lunch :)

Luke won't do the baby rice thing at all lol he knows when it's there and just refuses lol I also add runny purree to yoghurt

I remember someone mentioning doing something with baby porridge or baby rice in the microwave to make sticks that the can chew on? Can anyone enlighten me?

Anyone near a Morrisons, might be worth a look at their baby event. I got a tommee tippee pack of self feeding bowls down to £1, spoons 49p, and the Heinz pouches 4+ months for 50p. Emma seems to prefer these, so good for when we are out.

I don't know sorry. I was there yesterday. Everything had hand written stickers on other than the pouches, so I'd say they would just stay till they all sold. They had tommee tippee bottles too 4 for £5.

Yea I saw this / something about finger foods - a thread similar - 3 parts porridge 1 part water and fridge it into sticks maybe ?

I think it was thicker than that actually because I remember ginning they would be really really thick I thought it was half and half could be wrong

It was 3/1 :D they look nice thanks

May see if Oscar wants to make himself one! Hahaha

Just found that same website. So it's normal rolled oats. They look chunky. Might experiment tomorrow, and can mix anything in really.

Morrisons baby event has ended. They've reduced prices to get rid of stock :)

There was something that was half half then lol

I'm not introducing finger foods for a very very long time. Not after last week.

Ooohhh hello morrisons! I know what I'm doing tomorrow! X

Hubby's on his zipline thing tomoz! Think Oscar and I will have a day out and about! X
