How are all you new mummies doing?

Kathryn, have you got any of the thick fleecy sleep suits? Isabelle wore one of those instead of going into a sleeping bag last night and was plenty warm enough, so I'd think a vest, sleep suit and thick sleeping bag would be nice and snuggly on a cold night.

Just normal sleepsuits.

He was wearing a long sleeved vest, sleepsuit and 1.4 tog bag, but his hands were icy cold. They were still a little cold this morning after I'd swapped him into the 2.2 but he slept fine once he was in that. I don't have any fleecy ones but will see how we go and might buy a thicker gro-bag when it gets colder

Where did you get your fleecy ones from?

We had Luke in a padded sleep suit when it was cold earlier in the year. Loves it.

Luke was on short best, sleep suit and 2.5 bag- his room was 20/21

S was the same last night, she slept through and seemed warm enough but her hand where like ice!! Maybe I'll start buying her sleep suits with the pull over mits again.

I wouldn't worry too much about his weight either hon, if he is happy eating away and healthy. They are all just different. S isn't moving at all really either mind so keep getting told that once she does her weight will plateau!

I sometimes wonder of Luke's weight (me said she wasn't too happy as he's dropping odff the centile line - bit that was 6 weeks ago) is because he's moving all the time! My mum says he kicks his legs so much he's probably walking miles lol he's constantly rolling too and he stands up at every opportunity, the way he likes to get off his chair now is to sit up and he shuffles his bum to the edge then pulls himself up onto his feet and tries to life his legs to walk along! He's so active and hardly ever naps so I wonder if he's just so active his weight is harder to keep high.

Bex, Emma has a snotty nose after her hour at nursery too. She's got 4 hours here today. Really don't need her sick for the weekend.

Jojo, Emma didn't sleep through last night. But I still check on the older two if I get up in the night. Either poke them till they move, or open an eyelid till the look at me. They are so used to it now they aren't phased. Lol.

I've found now that Emma is sitting and moving a lot she thinning out. Forgot to get her weighed yesterday, so will have to wait till next week for weigh in.

Worried now Macie slept 7-9 I've just fed her n she's projectile vomited everywere! But she seems ok in herself has plenty of colour n is laughing what do u ladies think? She was teething really bad yesterday xxxx

Luke has had a few days where he vomited - I actually find that he spots up a lot less since he ha started feeding himself. Luke usually does 6-9
(Sometimes with. Bottle at 7-8) so I wouldn't worry. Yesterday Luke had 7oz at 3pm then at 5:30 just took 3pz then slept until 6pm- 7am

My boy is so clever!! Learnt how to hold onto the furniture to stand. :) he's holding onto the soda with one hand and the table with the other :)

Nice photo Jojo! Hayley is the same, absolutely loves standing! She could spend all day standing, was proud of her yesterday as she actually moved her leg to take a step forward!

I've had to put him in his 9-12 month swimming costume today lol the 6-9 was making red marks on his legs last week. It's got a good on though... Can he be dunked with a hood up?

Good god

So gave Oscar his porridge then he had abit of my toast - abyway he's been grumpy but has been hysterically crying for hours

I've managed to get him to sleep on my shoulder playing soothing lullabies on iPad in our bedroom

So just sat here doing nothing - not even dressed - meant to be going out for a meal at 1 for SIL bday - that's out the window :( gutted lol

Aww that's rubbish Bex! Hope Oscar is in a better mood when he wakes up. I'm also still in my PJs, Hayley has been crying alot the last few days, I think her new tooth is just really hurting, but Calpol, teething granules, bonjela and teething toys don't seem to keep her happy for very long. I've just put her to bed in her moses, hoping she sleeps longer than the usual 15 mins then she can be all refreshed when up.

Got a call from child maintenance, they've worked out my ex is to give £32 a week to me for Hayley, so that will start on the first of next month. Least then Hayley will be getting something from him

Emma's been doing the crying for no reason thing too. Gave in today and put her in the car to put her to sleep. Ended up at Morrisons spending £40 on stuff I don't actually need. She's now at nursery for her settling in. Time to clean the house!

Kaedin, glad you are getting somewhere with the maintenance. Did they work that out based on your ex having her for a few days? Make sure he knows the money is worked out based on him paying for everything on the days he has her.

Yeah it's based on him having Hayley 1 night a week. I spoke too soon, he just text me. Saying that I am "well aware of his finances both incoming and outgoing. Realistically he can afford to give me £20 a per week for hayley". :wall2::wall2::wall2:

I think he's forgotten that he posted on facebook (after unfriending me) that he's going to go to 7 gigs in October and November. Funny he has enough money for 7 tickets, plus drinks each night, yet can't give the extra £12 a week towards Hayley. I'm not going to reply to his text, as I'm not getting into an argument. Child maintenance know how much money he earns, that's why they've worked it out as £32. If he doesn't pay it, they can take it striaght from his wages, there will be a fee but if that's what he wants to do. Fine by me.

What an idiot! Any decent father would be willing to pay £32 a week... Seems like he drinks a lot, maybe if he drank less he's have more money to Put towards his daughter!

Bex do you think oscars crying is to do with the breakfast he had or teething or just general baby whining?
Luke was So grumpy at swimming this week but everyone thought the water seems a bit cold so maybe that's why.

Luke had real porridge with milk and banana today and devoured it! He's food with his lumps but not sure how to go any further - mind crippling fear!!

I have a few 7+ pouches for tasting new tastes - got lamb dinner, chicken and sweet corn with herbs, beef and potatoes and fish pie.

I gave Thomas a piece of cooked carrot the other day to see what he'd do. The whole thing went in his mouth, nearly had a heart attack! He spat it straight out though
