How are all you new mummies doing?

we have virgin phone, television and broadband. We pay about £70 a month. Its our treat. We don't smoke, don't have many nights out x

We went about two years without internet but due to our business picking up we needed it for work. We survived with just four channels for a couple of years too, god knows how!?

Well me and Ruri are off to work with his dad today! It'll be lovely we don't get to spend a lot of time together so I'm looking forward too it :)

God I couldn't do without sky! SIL and our friend work for them tho so we always get half price. That and Netflix was my saviour after having S and couldn't live without Disney jr now haha.

Well after thu crappy sleep I was konked out my 930 last night and woke up at 7 with S... Defo needed that. 2 more back shifts for hubby and he is off for 4 weeks!!! Yay!!

Has hubby defo lost his job now Bex? What a shit situation. :-(

I couldn't do without sky either. The kids would send me over the edge! Has anyone got amazon prime? Apparently I get free movies, but it's way too technical for me :-/

It's all to do with amazon buying lovefilm? We had lovefilm but it's now called amazon prime! We've got an app on our TV for it.

We couldn't cope without our SkyPlus box. In early weeks of parenthood it was the only way we got to watch any of our programs and the on demand box sets are great! We pay £60pcm for basic HD package, phone & unlimited broadband which I don't think is unreasonable. Really hope we don't have to give it up.

I don't smoke, have loads of nights out or treat myself - still don't have sky haha!

We have Apple TV though so have netflix through that! ( free as it's our friends netflix account )

How do you all find the time to watch loads of TV? If I'm not playing with Oscar, I'm doing washing or abit of housework etc - when he goes to bed it's bottles and tidy up, then our dinner - we are lucky to get maybe an hour a day of TV HAHA

wonder if I'll even get that when I go back to work hmmm

We only pay £17 for sky as everytime I'm out of contract I say I'm leaving and they give it to me for half price for another year. I only get to watch tv once Maddie's in bed which is usually about 8, I do a quick tidy up then I'm free to do whatever from about 8.30 and I never go to bed before 11.30 either despite my best intentions

I have it on in the background and when Thomas is asleep I have a cuppa and watch something.

I have a cleaner that comes once a fortnight so that makes my life easier. Washing only takes a few minutes to sort out and my mum does my ironing!!

We watch something with dinner normally so that's how sky plus is a lifesaver

I'm the same as Kathryn Bex it's on in the background. If joseph has a nap I might manage to watch something. End up recording stuff that I miss and watch it later when Joseph is in bed if Kev is on lates x

I watch TV once Ruri is in bed. Think it's one of the reasons I'm always so late in bed? OH tells me off but I just need some time where I can sit in peace and just think of myself haha. I do my cleaning and bottles etc then just sit and watch a programme all to myself!

I'd love a cleaner! Pete seems to think now I'm not working it's my responsibility to do everything can't remember even last time he washed a pot!! Being a mummy is the hardest work I've ever done!! Xxxx

Same in this house nat, can't remember last time he done housework or cooked a dinner. Tbh he spends his time off with S loads and lets me get it done which id probs rather. God knows how it's going to work when I'm back at work tho.

We are the same it's always on in the background. Having PP now means that when S is down at night I catch up on everything instead of making bottles :-)

I woke up at 7... Said I has a he'd ache and took paracetamol and hubby didn't wake me up! It's now 11:15 and I feel like a lazy bitch lol needed it though!

I always have the tv on in the background. Hate a quiet house. Then after everything done in the evenings I'll sit and watch something. Need a bit of me time.

Chris said I can get a cleaner, but don't like the idea of having to go out at a specific time each week. And of course it would mean I'd have to clean the toilets, put all the washing away, tidy the kids rooms in preparation!lol

I don't go out when she comes, i just pick everything off the floor beforehand. She only does bathrooms/downstairs loo, hoovers downstairs, stairs and our bedroom, study and guest bedroom and mops kitchen, utility, hallway, downstairs loo and bathroom floors.

I do the other stuff and anything that needs doing more than once a fortnight

I don't to upset or annoy you Jojo but why didn't he give him his porridge or get him ready?

Because he didn't know what he had or how to make it and because I hadn't put his clothes out like I usually do. Grrr! I'meant to be leaving him
With him when I go back to work! I'm going to have to write a list out for him!
