How are all you new mummies doing?

Luke slept until 9:30! Lazy boy. He woke us with his latest trick - high pitched screaming! Not fun on monitor lol

Crap night here... Again argh!

Here's hoping the 4 month sleep regression has came early!

Aww ladies, I feel your pain. Thomas slept right through till 7 but I didn't, hit a stupid tickley cough which keeps waking me up and I have to leave the room to have a coughing fit so I don't wake Thomas up.

Didn't seem to be any thunderstorms here last night, only a drop of rain too.

Swimming today and hubby's coming which will be so nice

Not been on in a few days, been really busy and struggling to find a second to myself.

Hayley was really unsettled last night, she kept waking up crying, she was only wearing a nappy as it was warm - so turned the fan to blow on her. Having a bad day today sickness wise, but her prescription of ranitidine is finally in!! Asked her dad to pick it up and bring it to me...we will see when he finally shows up. Went to the house to pick up more of my stuff and he had added a new lock so I couldn;t get in to "steal his stuff"....AS IF!! Raging, what if I went myself with the pram to get a few bits an bobs (i need to get 2 different buses and it takes over 1.5 hours!) He'd expect me to just have to come home with Hayley. Ridiculous.

Heres hoping the medicine helps, poor girl was crying earlier really in pain then was suddenly sick loads. Straight after it she fell asleep so her tummy must have been really upset.

Just had proper panicking mum moment. Popped out to shops with Isabelle. Was in shop and she coughed and projectile vomited everywhere. Picked her up to attempt to wipe up and she did it again and started crying. Put her back down and yet more came out. Her clothes were saturated, her pushchair swimming and my mopping muslin soaked through.

She isn't a very sicky baby and usually if she brings something up she just grins and gets on with her day, but she just wasn't right so I panicked and took her straight round to our GPs (literally around the corner) where she promptly threw up again and just laid there looking pale and she was all clammy. I just burst into tears but the receptionists were great and reassured me, booked us in to see a GP and got me a glass of water. We had to wait for an hour and, of course, she was back to her usual self by then but he checked her over and proclaimed her fine, thankfully.

So I feel like a daft brush but at least my baby is ok!

Thanks mrssmith. Once she finishes her lunch I've got to give her a wash and attack all her and my sicky clothes etc. and the pushchair. The joys of parenthood!

Emma was up at 4, then every 15 mins after that till I gave in and we got up at 6. Got a big night out tonight too, and have to clean the house today as my inlaws babysitting. Could really do with a nap!

Awwww, poor Isabelle Maud! You would think the GP would just pop out for a quick check huh.

So hot here too. Currently got Emma on her play mat naked. She's much happier! Although just had to lunge with a pile of muslins when she decided to wee!lol

Hope it's all 1 offs for you ladies with the crap sleeping

Oscars in bed with me and he's nodding off so I'm about to have a nap

Then housework crazy afternoon, apply my tan for tomorrow night, then Oscar bed and early night before the next sale at 4.30am!

Have written a list of things I need for 6-9 and 9-12 however I will be thinking as far ahead as 12-18 for next summer :)

I begrudge paying next prices even in the sale! I know it's good quality stuff but company hubby worked for was owned by next & they got 25% off! Every friend of ours who had a baby took advantage of this discount but by the time we had a LO the company was sold to capita & discount revoked :(

They still have the staff shop tho which is where I go for bargains! Got him a winter coat for £2.50 the other day :)

I don't mind paying next prices for decent outfits

His nursery clobber I'll get from supermarkets and primark etc but sometimes it's just not as good as next ? I'll see what the sale has to offer :)

Are mini cots any good? Since leaving Hayleys dad she's been sleeping in her tiny love rocker chair, but she's outgrowing that and she enjoys playing in it during the day so it's hard lifting it up and downstairs everyday

If theyre good and would last a while I might buy one, any one know where I can buy a cheapish one? As I'm skint and he hasn't given me a penny

Omg Kaedin, so he doesn't even care that Hayley hasn't got a cot to sleep in?! Is he not thinking? Or just trying to be mean to you? That's just not right :-(

Jojo got a mini cot for Luke from memory. Think kiddicare have some fairly cheap.

I got one from kiddicare in the sale. A compact one think it was the same as Jojo's. He was in it from week 7 til week 17ish coz he kept whacking the sides & getting stuck when he moved in his sleep. I'd probably go with a travel cot if it's only temp coz you'll get more use out of it?

You need to get the police involved

A rocker chair is no place for a baby to sleep Hun - I know it's not your fault but you need to get them involved - and his parents too ?

I had a baby late last night but only just found this forum
I have 2 other children too
