How are all you new mummies doing?

I'm just not a fan of the wording tbh. All mums I'm sure would love a quiet place and a cup of tea whilst feeding regardless of how :-)

Aw well done luke!! Wish I could say the same for S. She cried for half her lesson cos she was hungry. It's at such an awkward time for her feeds and you don't wanna feed her just before incase she is sick. Can't wait til she's doing all the proper swimming :-)

Yes but why offer a free drink to bf mums and not bottle feeding mums?

You could clearly advertise breast feeding mums welcome without needing to offer a free drink and therefore exclude bottle feeding. Likewise a lot of bf mums express anyway.

I would personally not go into a place like this out of principle that me buying something is supplementing someone else's drink.

Personally wouldn't bother me :)

I've actually been in costa coffee with my friend who bfs. Costa are fb friendly but you should have seen the disgusting look the old dear at the side of my friend was giving her for feeding her child. I never said anything at all because my friend hadn't noticed & I wouldn't want to embarrass her. This sign regardless of the offer of a free drink would deter folk like that away.

Plus I might have been anxious about bf in public but I wouldn't hesitate to ask for a free drink too! I'm quite cheeky like that :D

That's terrible! It's a shame it still happens in this day and age. I like places that have wee feeding places. One of our shopping centres has
TT bottle warmers and evrrything! I've found toilets for myself the hardest part when I'm out and about. Most shops who have baby change have a toilet too, but not always. And finding one the buggy can fit in with me is hard. Either that or you have to used disabled which I feel bad about x

I actually think it's because he's on solids now he's more content. He had 7oz milk and a pot of raspberry and apple purree and seems happier

I would love to dunk Isabelle in the paddling pool as she's hating the heat today, but it's such a faff to blow it up.

Great day at the local lido!!! Am VERY pink! Oscar was really good! He had a few dips in pool but it's only 25 degrees in there so we didn't keep him in long - he had a spray in the splash pad too!

We had BBC midlands today there aswell and they reported it was 28 degrees there ! Set to be 30 locally tomorrow!!

I wanna go back tomorrow but got stuff to do :(

Loved your photo from today Bex. Very Jealous. Aw bless him that's lovely. Shame you can't go back tomorrow. It's been lovely up here today probably more like low 20's. Unfortunately hubby is at work all weekend :(. Just bought Joseph a food system to make his own pouches. As much as Ella's kitchen stuff is good there is so much stuff he can't have. If make his own it means he can have mashed potato etc :)

Only just got Isabelle down. Tried earlier but she just laid there giggling to herself for 90 mins so we brought her back downstairs for an hour. Not sure what had her in such a good mood, but her routine's been off all day so hopefully she'll sleep ok tonight.

It's just too hot for Macie she keeps waking up not done that in ages I've left her window open for a bit but next doors dog keeps barking!! Grr! Xxxx

Anyone else having issues with their perfect prep machine? Mine won't work cause it's too warm in the house.

I've put Emma to bed in a vest and sleeping bag. Still 24 degrees in her room

Try adding a couple of ice cubes to the water to cool it down. Ours is near the window too to get a breeze on it!

Had this for weeks! I keep it SIL half the amount of water & ice cubes then can add colder water too

Maddie's in bed in just a vest, but her room is 26 at the minute! I had her in her grobag but she was sweating and wouldn't settle so took her out of it and she's gone off happily now.

Jealous of your local lido bex that looks great! We're settling for a paddling pool in the garden tomorrow lol

Yea my prep been over heating for weeks

I have fill it and top up with cold fresh water and a couple of ice cubes etc :).

It's 27 in our room and that's with the windows open. As much as I love the sun, I really hope it doesn't get any hotter.
