Hi Ladies,
Just wanted to do a quick post to hopefully reassure some who may experience some bleeding in tri 2. Over the last three days, I've had two bleeds, both were dark, old blood and there was no pain. It was still enough to make me panic!
After several trips to hospital and some very nice midwives, and Pickle kicking the doppler scanner constantly, I can confidently say all is ok.
Apparently the reason for my bleeding is quite common, the blood vessels in my cervix are irritated and the hormones and increased blood flow mean the chances of small bleeds are quite high.
Just wanted to reassure ladies experiencing similar, that whilst you should obviously get checked over by midwife, not all bleeds are terrible news.
