Well our first night of Harry being up in his own went ok, he was still stirring/ squeaking and 11pm when we came to bed, think we were up at 1:30pm and then he was up or about 2hrs before going back to sleep properly. Haven't managed to get him into be early Thursday or Friday as we have been out, so it has been home, change, feed and bed.

Last night was pretty good and I feel so much better for it. Bed was 10:30pm, up at 2:30-3am. He stirred around 4am but I picked him up and cuddled him and he went straight back to sleep then he didn't proper wake up til 8:30am, although there were shout outs several times, around every hour hour from 6, but he wasn't upset and I was too lazy to move hahaha!! It was his second night wearing a sleeping bag so I'm hoping that is making him more cozy to sleep better.

The plan is to switch him into his crib this weekend, have to move a few bits of furniture, but it should give him some more wiggle room. Xx

Elexis sometimes makes fussy noises through the night and sometimes i am that tired i just cant move but tbh, most of the time she nods back off

I really wanna put Elexis into her cot too, but it wont fit into our bedroom as the room is sooooo small and i really dont wanna leave her in her own room just yet, i'm far too paranoid lol so i'm at a loss on what to do as she is getting rather big for her moses basket, weighed her yesterday using the method where i get on the scales first alone and then get on with missy and work out the difference and she's 15lb but she gets weighed properly at hv's next week so we will see how correct that is lol

So the last two nights have been amazing sleep wise. Bed at between 9 - 9:30pm, and he didn't wake up til 4 -4:30 that's 7 whole hours, shame I don't go I bed with him, could do with 7 hour straight lol then back to sleep 5 -5:30 and up at 7:30-8am I think he did fuss a little at 1am but I was too tired to move straight away and next thing I know it's 4am lol

BF is going really well now Hope, not painful at all, unless he slips off the nipple, which happens rarely now. He must be able to feed so much better as he is sleeping longer and seems more settled.

Although he is still only going 1.5 - 2 hours during the day between feeds as sometimes I feel as though I haven't moved for hours especially if I let him snooze after feeding on the bf'ing pillow I have.

Deedee, Harry is a chunk at 6+4 weeks he weighed 11lbs 11oz, that's a gain of 4lbs 10oz over half his birth weight xx

Glad its not just my LO thats piling on the lb's haha! cant wait to get her weighed properly tomorrow and see if my scales are right!

It will be interesting to see if ur weighing of LO is accurate. I was thinking if getting digital scales for when I start dieting next week to keep track easier and so that I can weigh lil man in the same way u did.

I think we could be in for a rough night today as Harry has slept quite a bit more than he has on previous days! He I currently asleep in his bouncer after feeding at 8:30pm, hoping I can get some more milk in him before we go to sleep in a bit. Got to change him into his bed stuff so hopefully that will wake him enough to bf him. Xx

I bought a special baby scale do I am not hysterical if she puts weight or not and mostly so I don't go to the clinic during the freezing Norwegian weather only for a weigh in lol...

His hair is getting lighter and lighter each day. But DH was a blonde baby an so was my brother, u would never guess it now with their dark hair. Xx

Harry is in his crib for the first time tonight, feels strange to have him so far away from the bed, well at the end of it It doesn't fit long side me like the moses basket did. Oh well, it is all in good practice for him going into his own room, just wish I could see him easier without having to get out of bed xx

my OH keeps joking that ive been with the postman as Lexi's hair seems to be a gingery/strawberry blond, we're both dark haired and were both blond as babies and Elise was blond at birth but her hair is getting darker, seems we do have a ginger gene in the family though so shes either gonna be a little ginner or it will change as she gets older!

Harry did really well in his crib for the first night last night, so proud of him its going well tonight too as he has been asleep for 45 mins in there so far.

Harry had his 8 week check today at the docs, all is good except he has a small murmur sound from his heart. Doc said he isn't worried about it but wants to see us in 4 weeks to check it. He said something about baby's heart still growing and developing or something. Our lil porker is now 12lbs 2oz too he is 59cm in length now, which is a growth of 8cm since birth 9-3 month old clothes aren't going to fit long at this rate (usually up to 12-14lbs and 62cm) lol

My "check" by the doc went like this -
Doc "are u breast if bottle feeding?"
Me "breast feeding"
Doc "how are u feeling."
Me "pretty good, we are doing well!"
Doc "I take it ur periods haven't returned yet as ur Bf'img?"
Me "nope, not yet!"
Doc "have u thought about birth control?"
Me "yeah, I want the coil agin"
Doc "doc Phillips can do that for u, book an appt with her"
And that was it. I wa so confused that I asked the receptionist when I left, if that was my check lol Disnt want to walk out if I was meant to see another doc (a female one or something) before leaving.

Whilst at docs we were booked in for Harry's 1s jabs tomorrow morning, so not looking forward to seeing my lil man in pain. Hope I don't cry too but we are the off to my sisters for a few days, yippee!! First big drive with Harry in the car, so hopefully I goes ok especially after his jabs.

I suppose I should really get some sleep or I'm going to be knackered tomorrow xx

My appointment went something like that too, i was confused, but she did tell me thay dont do post natal checks as such anymore and the smear side of things has changed too, when i had elise i had a smear about 6 weeks later, went for my smear the other week and she said i cant have one until Lexi is 12 weeks old!!

As for harry's murmur i'm sre everything will be ok and if the doc wasnt worried than i guess theres no reason for you to be
Harry is also longer than Lexi haha, shes 55cm lol!

Yeah Elliott is over 59 cm too now he was measured that at his six week check must be a boy thing x

Harry's jabs yesterday were horrible, he was all smiles at the nurse and then she stabbed him not once but twice!! He cried so much and was still crying 10 mins later when we were allowed to leave the doctors. He had a grouchy day and had 2 lots of calpol to ease any pain he had. Thought we could be in or a bad night but it was ok, bed at 11pm, up at 3am then up at 7.30am.

Been having a lovely time at my sisters and took my niece to an indoor play area yesterday. It is so much fun running around all the squishy stuff and down the slides!! I thought I was going to get stuck in some places, as in one area y had to up and over stuff then under hints from the ceiling in a zigzag type thing. Then there was a tunnel thin that actually span round whilst I was in it, and I ended up on my back lol

Today we have been baby shopping with my aunty and sister and brought myself a onesie pj set its a zebra one and super comfy. Xx

My mums taking Lexi for her next jabs, i just cant do it again, seeing how upset she was, Elise obviously must have coped better as i took her for all of hers lol

Not wrote in this for ages, didn't realise I had neglected it this long lol!!

Harry is 9 weeks old today I have no idea where the time is going, he is growing up so fast! He is really smiling now, and it is so cute. He seems to really recognise me now too, but isnt worried about being held by other people as long as I am around lol He also holds his head pretty good by himself now too, which is good cos he is so nosey and loves sitting upright. Can't wait til he is big enough to sit in one of the those bumbo type seats, think I will get the mama and papa's snug one as it has an insert bit that comes out and hopefully will last him longer.

So Harry as started sleeping really really well this last week with him sleeping roughly 7pm or 8pm right through til 5am or 6am Clever lil man Sometimes he has a feed around 11pm or midnight, and stirs around 3am, but usually drops off to sleep again by the time I get my arse out of the bed lol Because he sleeps so well at night he is awake quite alot during the day feeding every 2 hours or so. It is hard to keep him entertained sometimes, but he is happy to lay on his play mat or sit in his bouncy chair watching me or the tv. It can make it hard to get things done around the house but I don't care cos my lil man is so much more fun to watch

I was meant to start my diet on Monday, but still had far too many yummy things to eat in the house so failed that one. So hopefully this Monday I will be able to start again. I know my weight is lower now than pre pregnancy at the mo, but I have noticed that the pounds are creeping on again, damn those tasty biscuits!!! My pre pregnancy weight was 16st 7lbs, went down to 15st after having Harry and I'm now 15st 7lbs, oops!! First goal is to get to 14st, then I will aim lower once I have reached that, as I can't remember the last time I was under 15st, so 14st will be an amazing achievement! xxx

Aww Harry is doing so well...maybe its a boy thing, all the boys on PF seem to be sleeping lovely for their mummys, not like my chunky monkey

Good luck with the diet too, its always best to set yourself little goals to begin with and aim higher after! My goal is to get to 11stone and i'm 5lb off doing that (so the scales tell me this morning) but......my brother is doing a BBQ today so i may put some weight back on, gonna try and eat sensibly though, as much as i could really eat a massive cheese burger i might just stick wth the chicken lol
