Had anomaly scan

and we have a healthy baby
We are team pink!! I'm so delighted to have a healthy little baby girl on the way. I was so sure it would be a boy and I really didn't mind which it was but deep down I did kind of hope for a girly.

The scan was actually really scary because she wouldn't get in a good position for any of the checks. The sonographer couldn't get the heart in view and we had to go for a walk to get baby to shift position and then there looked like there was a problem with the spine. She called in the senior sonographer who took a load more pictures and then they did some blood flow thing and it showed that what they thought was the spine cord not closing properley was actually the umbilical cord so all was fine. It was really worrying for a while (whole process took over an hour) so extra pleased when got the all ok.
