Isn't it a lovely day!

Blue skies, brisk wind and the warmth of the sun on your back

I just phoned the Nhs doctor to try and change my appointment that is supposed to be in May...

Next Thursday

I told a bit of a white lie based on a white lie that the consultant told me.

He told me that he'd give me an appointment in May while we wait for the results, but i thought at the time that 3 months sounded a bit too "routine" - he didn't actually seem to consider my individual circumstances.

In reality if i got the results that very day i think he would have made me wait til May.

So i phoned up the receptionist and said that the May appointment was due to waiting for results but i got them back sooner so could i have a sooner appointment and she didn't even bat an eyelid!

17th March!

I can't believe it

I'm actually a bit worried that i might get told off by the doctor for not respecting his timescale - i can't believe it was that easy! lol

Wow that is impressive, when I asked if there was any possibility of getting an earlier appt I was told no way!! Really pleased for you hun ... Eek less then a week how exciting!!!

Warm and sunny day here today, but a bit windy!
Got this stupid cough and my poor lungs can't cope anymore lol

Excellent news, at least it get's you a step closer for the neccessary treatment and have baby number 1! Don't worry about the doctor, they see so many people, he probably won't even remember lol

Well what a great day today is for you and Hubby, I wish you all the luck in the world for your appointment, are you on the drugs now or do you start them from the appointment?

Also where will you be in your cycle next week, is it good timing for you?

xx

Fantastic. Well done for your perserverance. It's great that it's paid off.

Great post Louise ur an inspiration to ppl on here so positive, I just know ur gonna get ur BFP sometime soon :) xx

Thanks ladies - i couldn't believe it. I phoned up the CARE people to see if i'd get the results through in time and the lady was so nice, she was gob smacked too.

I think i just got really lucky

are you on the drugs now or do you start them from the appointment?

Also where will you be in your cycle next week, is it good timing for you?

No, won't start any drugs for a couple of appointments yet :)

The one on next Thurs will basically be to see if the Nhs can pull any more diagnostics out before they refer me for the treatment, but i really don't think he has any left that will apply to us.

He'll have to refer us and he'll try putting me onto a waiting list which last time i spoke to him he said 10 weeks.

Although i've been told it is just a matter of posting some documents...

Then i'll have another appointment at CARE and they will very likely set a date to start the drugs or if we consider my cycle in advance maybe start then - i don't know, but they are very accommodating at CARE :)

Soooo... i tally it up as starting drugs by the end of May and getting a BFP god willing during June/July :)

Louise wouldnt it be amazing if u got ur BFP in June!! U certainly deserve it!! Xxx

ooo good luck my lovely...

i wish you all the luck in the world.....and hopefully we will move to tri 1 together in june with very sticky beans... xx
