James has a new little baby cousin!!

OH's amazing SIL had a little girl in the early hours, 8lbs 12oz but as yet unnamed.

So, so excited for a cuddle and yay I get to indulge my love of girly baby clothes

In-laws now have 3 grand-daughters and 2 grand-sons (still only grand-sons on my side though!!)

I think the only "disappointment" about being a boy Mummy is the clothes!!

I think even then it's because I have so many blooming nephews lol.

Got a Gap and H&M and M&S near me, will try not to go too mad.

This is James' 8th cousin, 9th due in about 8 weeks

Been to have James weighed, 19lbs 13oz...

Also saw HV about him not sitting and she had a good look at him in action and confirmed it's nothing to worry about. She said it's not uncommon for babies to crawl before they sit.

She could tell he is a little live wire who constantly wants to be on the move and that's why he wont sit (being in one place is no fun)

I have lots of pink goodies from H&M and I am hoping I'll get a baby cuddle tonight. I am currently not feeling at all broody so it will be interesting to see how I feel after being around a newborn

Just back from having newborn cuddles!

She is such a beautiful, dinky little thing and her skin is just perfect (I was expecting her to be a bit crusty like James was lol). She made James look like a beast - although he is almost the same size as his 14 month old cousin so I don't think of James as 'small'.

I am 100% not broody though, def not ready for another one myself yet

I deffo kwum, for me it's the thought of what's happened in the past and when Jacob was Born that terrifies me, sometimes it makes me wonder if I'm supposed to have only 1 baby x

I know, I only have 3 first cousins

OH has about 30 though! His Mum has 2 sisters and 4 brothers and his Dad has 3 brothers and 6 sisters and all bar one have kids

This doesn't include the fact my in-laws had 6 kids...

Big, big families lol.

We only do gifts for nieces and nephews, we don't even do parents or siblings at Crimbo!

I haven't even met all of OH's first cousins lol.

My sister is on her 3rd baby and she is only 25. She wants to retrain as a MW when she is done having her kiddies... I think there'll be one more at some point.

I think Madison will be our only child too which the more I think about it the more I don't actually mind it.

I love having a big family! But yours is loads bigger than mine lol family gatherings must be madness when you all get together?! x
