Folic Acid = Heartburn :(

I have started taking Folic Acid but it is giving me terrible heartburn. Does anyone else get this? Should i continue with it?

from what i understand it is imp to take folic acid, maybe u could try it in a pronatal vitamin, like sanatogen or pregnacare?

I havent had any heartburn whilst ive been taking it.

dont stop taking it just try alternatives. if your not sure if you can find one i would even suggest asking your doctor. it is very important that you take it.

Keep taking the folic acid honey, maybe you should see your doctor to see if he can suggest anything that will help.

It is very important to take folic acid as you know, but heartburn is not much fun at all.

Forgot to say.....Are you taking anything for the heartburn? A lot of girls suggest gaviscon for heartburn and morning sickness. It didn't help me much but maybe it is worth a try. xxx
