Sorry to hear that Claire i agree its not nice to know he hasn't passed his test even though i am sure he will pass with flying colors when gets tested again at 6 months.

Think something is up with Alex today all he has done is sleep but as soon as i try to put him down he screams his head of. He even woke up screaming while he was a sleep in my arms. Not sure what's wrong. And have no idea how he will sleep tonight.

Think mine hss gone over it hmmmm x he hasn't had any formula for 3 days as trying to go fully boobie xx

We are 99% bf and I do express so jer can take 1 feed when im exhausted and go for a sleep x
I struggle to get more than 50mls tho so can only do 1 feed xx

Claire, I'm positive it's to do with the mucus build up. My friends baby had something similar and at the 6 month check up all was well. Is there anything you need to do in the mean time?

So I've had a stomach bug since Saturday and I've not eaten much at all. As if Monday evening, anything I have eaten has gone right through me and out the other end - even water. My appetite is only just coming back.
My milk supply has been fine up until 5pm tonight when she was on there for an hour and a half getting so frustrated as there obviously wasn't much coming out. I had to give her formula to fill her up.

Tomorrow I'm just going to eat and if I get diarrehea then so be it.

If I get her to keep sucking, eat more and drink loads of water will my milk supply eventually increase again?

No there's nothing we can do for him. I did ask whether she thought it was worth seeing a Doc for his eyes but she said no point because they can't do anything for him and to just carry on bathing them when they're gunky and to massage the corners of each eye by his nose.

Next app is his hip scan which is just a precaution because my Mum was born with a deformed hip. They're not worried but he has to have the scan just in case.

On a big big plus note my munchkin sat in his bouncer chair fully awake for 30 whole minutes tonight! So proud of him!

1st feed of the night xx
He took ages to settle from 9.30-11 but then slept for 2.5hrs xx

Ahhh lil man stop fighting me to feed!! Been trying to feed since 1.30am and in 3 different episodes weve managed about 11mins I would say x grrr its sooooo frustrating he's getting more milk over his face than in his mouth x
Blooming falling asleep so changd bum fed a little then sleeping but back in basket then awake x

I've just done first feed of the night (since 8pm, yaaaaay go CJ!!!) and first one with formula powder, put water in flask and had to run under cold tap as was too hot!!! Little man just took 4oz for the 3rd feed in a row, and touch wood wasn't sick!!!! Only downside is I'm not producing enough of my own milk to keep up with 4oz feeds
Put him in his cot hoping he will self settle like he has been doing **crosses fingers**

My boy is being a little sod tonight as well on our second feel alreday since 10pm and it took me over and hour and half to settle him last time. I knew he was going to play up tonight as he slept so much during the day.

Sorry to all those who had tough nights.

We had a really good evening/night. I went up to put Jack to bed and make dinner, came down half way through to find Harry happily sitting in his bouncer chair with OH on the floor next to him! The pair of them were watching baby TV!! Harry was fascinated and lasted 30 whole minutes in there without screaming!! OH and I ate our dinner hot and at the same time!! Bliss!

He had a good night too, 3 x 2oz feeds and straight back to sleep afterwards! He's been up and messing about with a bottle since 6am x

Morning. Yay I got some sleep!! Managed to get comfortable on the sofa and think it's easing a bit now compared to what it was. u has been such a little star and slept really well in her pushchair considering she used to co sleeping. Fingers crossed I get to sleep in my bed tonight. Hope u ladies are all ok and got plenty of sleep. Xxx

Hi ladies hope all is well. Had a lovely evening with hubby for our anniversary, skylers routine was totally thrown out tho and didn't get her to bed till 9.30, but she went down no trouble and just woke now so that's reassuring for when we leave her over night in 2 weeks eek! Was so nice to be together as a couple had a great time! We are gonna start going out once a month now.

So I'm just feeding her and noticed she's got a scratch right under her eye. She scratches herself a lot in the night! I put scratch mits on but she gets them off! Do your Los do this? How can I stop it!

Diane, so glad you had a good anniversary and Skyler still managed to settle. How did you find leaving her? We're you relaxed or were you thinking about her loads?
As for scratches E does that a lot. I have to file her nails otherwise her face looks as though a cats attacks it. Also my boobs stand no chance when she starts beating them.

Good news my milk seems to be back today. I still have that stupid bug though. I'm going to call my GP today to see if they can advise me on what I can take. Which reminds me, can I take dirilyte when breast feeding?

We had our best night yet, she was asleep from 9, woke at 1.30 for a very quick feed. Then at 4.30 for another and has woken just now, hungry but chirpy!

I found it fine leaving her tbh lol she is with my mum everyday as I go there everyday so I was confident she was in familiar surroundings and mum knows her a bit x

Anything I can do for constipation? Skyler is struggling with pooing ATM and don't know what to do about it x

Hey ladies hope your all ok sorry I've been quiet! Will catch up on all of the thread shortly.

Diane you can get sleepsuits with buts that turn over at the ends of the sleeves. Basically built in scratch mits! They are amazing as they can't come off! Lol next and sainsburys sell them!

Sassy they say not to now days but I make mine up and put them in the fridge and warm when needed. Never hurt my nephew or anyone else! I make up 24 hours worth of feeds as you shouldn't keep them longer than that.

We went from 2am til 6:45am, yaaaaay!!!!

I've decided I'm putting him onto formula full time, he is alot more settled, and my milk doesn't seem to be filling him up!!!! Plus trying to find time to express when I am on my own with him is near on impossible sometimes!!!!

He is now having grandad cuddles after puking all over me and himself! Xxx
