She's just woken us both up - sounded like she couldn't breathe. She's just having another feed but I'm scared to put her back down again!

Nicky, what sort of noise was she making? Mine does something weird like that too, like a high pitched thing. I asked the doctor and she said it was normal as all their little breathing tubes are still so small. I'm not convinced really and am terrified when she does it. Next time it happens, if I can I'm going to film it so I can show the docs. I know that makes me sound crazy!

It's like she's she can't breathe through her nose and sounds like she has loads of fluid stuck at the back of her mouth - if that makes sense. Like she can't clear it! And it's not like Chris to wake up!

I think I know what you mean. Do you think some if her saliva went down the wrong way? My one hates her medicine and often struggles so much that it goes down the wrong way and she makes that sort of choky noise. It terrifies me each time. Then she coughs and coughs and you can still see she's trying to clear her throat!

Poor little Jas, is she ok now?xxx

My little one used to make that noise too! I was so worried I took her to out of hours doc to check her chest! He said the same as babybee said x scary tho :-/ then I read in a book somewhere about them stopping it around 6 weeks ish. She doesn't do it now.

Just got little miss up for a feed. She was starting to stir, not surprised really she was in bed at 7.30!!! Paul and I were in bed at 9 too we are so exhausted it just all caught up with us! Feel wide awake now, typical!

It's our 3rd wedding anniversary today, we are going for a meal tonight and my mum is having sky for a few hours first time I've left her for a significant period of time eek!

We've been up since 3 :-( Chris is absolutely shattered bless him but he stayed up trying to settle her. We gave in at 5 and I just sat upright with her sleeping on me so that Chris could at least get a couple of hours before work

Well I managed to sleep and don't feel any better for it, apparently little man had a bad night for daddy, and according to the wonder weeks app he is going through a leap, and we have 7 more days to go! Oh joy!!!
I'm laid on the bed, just expressed, can hear him hollering downstairs though, may just get up, get him ready and head over to mums now, I'm sure they will be awake!
Hope you all had a good night? Xx

Thanks girls!

Hopes he will be ok :hugs: sky didn't cry but I was quite shocked at how much blood they get :-( wasnt prepared for it at all. I've got skylers first jabs on Tuesday cannot believe it, really hope she's ok with them!

I was ok with it until the MW said at her last visit she had just come from a house where she'd left baby & mum in hysterics because she'd tried (& failed) 5 times. I read if you keep their feet especially warm it makes it easier so O is currently very fashionable with 2 pairs of socks on under his sleepsuit. He looks like his feet are so out of proportion. lol
