****** February 2018 Mummy's thread. Hello tri 2 *****

''Tis the season for uniform!!

Ahh carnat! Hate when that happens!

speaking of 'tis the season! Hate to say it but Christmas is fast approaching!!

Awwww I love, love, love Christmas. Not in August though

Have a mid November baby (well he'll be 5 this coming November!!) So never start until after his Birthday.

Haha! I'm the same! Oldest September middle and dh in November and youngest in Jan with this one due Feb. I do all my Christmas/birthday prezzie shopping end of August lol.

Having a Christmasy feeling Day lol x

We are going to be rather large for Christmas this year!!

That's the landmark I've given my son - baby will be here after Christmas! I'll just have to keep him occupied for the 5 weeks after until baby actually arrives!

I was 37w Xmas 2014.... wasn't too bad. Although we only stay local anyway (both lots of parents are a 20m walk away - live near each other lol) so not much travelling to go visiting.

Aww Wednesday is he excited about becoming a big brother??

We hosted Christmas for hubbys family last year. He has 6siblings not including partners and children! We agreed to host again this year before finding out we were expecting so it will be very interesting!

Not that I'm complaining but it's been a very mild summer so far and having a look at the extended forecast looks like the whole of august will be milder this year. Really feel for those in Europe that have been hit with the heatwave! I struggle with temps in the uk when they hit 28+ unless there's a nice breeze

It's tri 2 we are meant to start 'glowing' right? I still feel like poop

Granted I feel marginally better than I did?

Not sure if I've started to feel the first fizzes of baby? Or my digestive system is working overtime

Hopefully you don't have much longer to wait for the glow! Roll on feeling much better!!

Ooo could be baby!! How exciting!!

Is any one else finding they're eating things they don't normally eat? I'm not a massive fan of chips! And I despise salad cream but a plate of chips with salad cream on the side with some cucumber is literally the only thing I can eat (and finish) at the moment. I can pick at stuff but end up making chips so I'm not hungry

I'm waiting for the glow as well, all I seem to have developed is lots of spots, feel like I'm a teenager again! And I'm tired all of the time too, not helping that iv a three year old and it's summer holidays I suppose x

I can not await to glow, all i seem to do is bloat at the moment.
I am sure i must be the only person who hasn't had a suppressed appetite at all- quite the opposite actually :)

Finally worked out how to upload a photo of the little bean, I've also been put foward a week (must have a big baby) Certain his a little boy :)

I have a love for chips at the minute as well.

Today has been interesting.

A colleague of mine (who I believe wants my job) asked me if I was pregnant today. How rude!!

I've also booked the NIPT test. I feel like this low papp A thing is ruining my pregnancy and I need to rule out a chromosome problem so I'll be having the test on Friday.

Btw my private scan suggested 1st Feb

I don't understand why private and nhs are different

Lovely Pic Zoey!!

JustTrying, when did you have your private scan? You go by NHS scan (usually) as they do it at optimum gestation to get the measurements to "correctly" date you. Hence it being the dating scan.

Although I was 9 days overdue with number 1 so my dates weren't accurate, number 2 came day after EDD though.

I have movement. Been feeling it for past few nights when I lay down. Wasn't sure if it was wind / general tummy gurgling but it's definitely movement. Now this is when I freaking love pregnancy!!!

Random question, where is everybody buying maternity bras? I've been cursed with large breasticles anyway and I'm splilling out of a G :(
Mother care don't go over a DD?

I'm going to have to sort something soon, my bras are getting stupidly small! Not really sure where to go though. Iv pretty much sorted the rest of my maternity wardrobe now so it's just boobs to sort lol x

Mine are an E (not grown at all yet!!) and I'm still in my normal bras. M&S for me. Although I use a different technique to measure myself.

M&S still do the best bras (and they have a maternity range) but they are rubbish at measuring.
