****** February 2018 Mummy's thread. Hello tri 2 *****

Aww lovely scan photo TS!! ! You must be so pleased xxxx

Lovely pic ts, and I like your ticker - makes me hungry

How is everyone doing? I think I am fighting a bug? Woke up last night with a really rumbly tummy and felt like I was going to puke? Not pregnancy nausea but feeling proper ill.

Had to wake OH and he had to sit with me as I went all shaky and shivery? Then it passed. Weird!

Feel OK today, I'm at work and going to stick to water and plain stuff today. Have some bread for toast?

I'm getting increasingly anxious about my NIPT result on Monday, this week has gone quite fast but the weekend will drag no doubt. My hubby is away in Scotland mountain bike so it's just me and the munchkin.

Feeling ok otherwise!

Maybe you ate something funny carnat? I've had loads of tummy issues since finding out I'm pregnant.

I'm officially 12 weeks again! Can't eat without feeling sick and have constant heartburn. But I look at my scan pics and all is worth it.

Gosh it has come around quickly. I am sure all will be fine and then you can [hopefully] relax.

Have been thinking loads about my risk factor and although I am "low risk", to me it seems quite high??

Yeah am hoping its something I ate and not a bug we are all going to get

Ive been told my Carbon Monoxide levels are too high but I dont smoke!

How did they test for this? (and why?)

x

I was told it's a routine breathing test during first midwife appointment?

Breathing into a cardboard pipe. Didn't you do this?

Nope, not in any of my pregnancies and have never heard of anyone who has had to do it??

Are you an ex smoker? Maybe that is why?

x

That's interesting, must be a regional thing. I am an ex smoker.
Wednesday had to do it despite being a non smoker.

I had to do this despite myself and partner not being smokers. Mine was 0

Wow 0!! I sit in a lot of traffic daily so im guessing it's the fumes.

I don't know what my reading is though. Maybe I should ring my midwife and find out.

Girls please tell me the rest of pregnancy will go by quick and February is around the corner.

I just cannot wait. The excitement is killing me. I can't wait to hold my baby and be a mummy for the first time ever.

It is such an exciting time!

I'm actually finding this time more exciting than my first as my son is ridiculously excited too!

I had to do that. Mine was 2 - I've never smoked either

You are not the first to say that the second time is even more exciting. I thought it would be less but there you go

Another excited one!

This pregnancy continues to get even more interesting! My legs are covered in those little spider veins... mostly purple with some blue.. my left leg is worse literally looks like a map! A horrid heavy feeling in my calf in the same leg too seeing the midwife on the 31st so will mention it when I see her.

Hope everyone's tri 1 symptoms are easing now! X
