Ok this might be a bit long winded & sound strange but please bare with me.
I had a mirena coil removed on the 1st August 11 & had a bleed on the 3rd, 4th & 5th August 11 but nothing since. I have a very active adult life with my fiancé & we haven't used any contraception since the coil was removed as we dont mind if we conceive.
So it has now been 13 weeks since my LMP & I have all the wonderful symptoms of being with child & feel very very pregnant but only one problem though........... negative pregnancy tests!!
This negative test thing is not uncommon with me though. With my daughter Abigail one hospital consultant told me after a negative test that I was "A silly little girl with growing pains & if I wanted to stop being sick I should stop sticking my fingers down my throat". It was two weeks after this I went to another hospital that they did a scan as I was complaining of stomach cramps that they found I was four months pregnant!! That was 10yrs ago & I now have a very beautiful daughter whom I adore.
Back to the here & now. I have been to the doctor who called the early pregnancy department who told him they would not see me until I had a positive test even with my past false negative tests. I went to the doctors again after I was sick in the street because of the smell of someone's coffee & again was faced with the your not pregnant unless you can produce a positive wee test rubbish. I then saw the nurse who was great & totally believed me but she said her hands were tied too because of no positive result. Getting fed up with negative tests & the nurse giving me a due date because she believes I am pregnant I went up the hospital A&E on the 1st November & explained what has been happening & that I have a slight constant stabbing pain on my very lower right side. I saw a Gyne doctor who took blood told me I wasnt pregnant because I have no hcg (even though I didnt with my daughter until 4months) & could have a cyst on the ovary. When I asked why I havent had periods since August she was shocked & said that maybe I was pregnant given my previous history & I should have a scan.
I now have a scan tomorrow & am really worried that there is nothing there & all this sickness & pregnancy symptoms have been in my head
