so i decided I NEED TO GET THAT COT UP!
so i got started.. took me forever to get 3 sides up then i just could not understand how to get the drop side up!

Im not joking, i was in BITS laying on the floor crying, OH didnt answer his phone and i felt i would be the worst mum ever if i couldnt get Noas cot up TODAY!
i was crying for hours and when OH called me back he got all worried as i was in a right state.. until he understood why i was crying..
He burst out in laughter saying it was daddys job to put the cot up and promised me that tomorrow we are gonna set it up and do the bedding and sort the mosesbasket out aswell!
I wanted us to do it together but it was just an urge i NEEDED to do it today.

funny now when i look back how silly i feel for all that crying

At least you tried, I wouldn't have a clue where to start lol I really want to put our cot up but I gotta swap the bedrooms over first and that's a job I keep putting off!

I did mine too, got fed up of it sitting around. I did it ages ago when I could still bend!! thankfully it was not a drop down one but I still struggled

OH put up our cots. The drop side is beyond me!! I am usually a very indipendant lass that can do anything but the cots........daddy's job lol xx

I didn't give my OH a chance to put the cot up! It arrived and I put it up x I built DD's cot before she was born too and her big bed and my bed x lol x I cried when I couldn't put up our kitchen table! X

I think building the cot is a very Daddy thing to do, as I think it helps them with the reality of the fact there will be a baby in it very soon! x

I would not have even attempted to build the cot, i tried putting together some drawers years ago, busted something and had to buy a whole new set, yes im that silly.

Definatley Daddy's job to me lol

iv got my dad coming to do mine as im single and im not good at stuff like that everything id bought for baby is in spare room at mums she bringing the first load over today scary stuff
