Ok its day 3 of being here and I have an update for for.


Sod all has happend!!!!

Pesery (or what ever its called) done nothing yesterday.
She is still 2cm

This morning they have given her the gell stuff which we are told is fast acting so according to them they should be able to brake her waters by about 2 pm today.
Obviously I will update you when I got something to tell ya.

Im begging this wont take much longer cos she is getting rather pissed off sitting there doing nothing all day.

Whats most anoying is watching many women come and go is anoying to see and its stressing ellie to tears. Horrible to watch.

Please something happen by 2pm just to cheer her up!!!!!

ahw i really really feel for you - this is exactly what happened with me... and it's not nice seeing all the other women having it work quickly and then back with their babies while you're still sat there. . .

2cm sounds really positive though - they should defo be able to break her waters which will help get the contractions going and if not the drip should ... i'd defo recomend an epidural - Ellie must be knackered bless her (well both of you!)

Day 3 was the day it all happened for me and it sounds like if they can break her waters it shouldn't be too much longer for you to wait either ... they broke my waters at midday (after the last pessary / gel at 2cm dilated) and then i had josie the very early hours of day 4. That sounds like a long time but once the waters have gone and the contractions get going the time will fly by!

it's probably not much help but i really really do understand what you must be going through... it's mentally difficult as well as phsyically tiring.

Once they break her waters / go on the drip I reckon you'll find you both get a second wind... you are getting closer and closer to meeting your little man... and it really really won't be too long now.. bet you are being a brilliant support to Ellie which is just what she needs... look after yourself too... lots of red bull and chocci!!!
