Due in September

I’ve decided that my symptoms have just adjusted slightly, I’m waking up not feeling too bad, but as the day goes on the sickness kicks in and by the time of day I feel pretty crappy which I guess is an improvement! Because at least in the morning I have a bit more energy to do stuff like housework.
How is everyone else?

I def feel things have gotten easier for me symptoms wise. That nauseous feeling in morning has gone and even my appetite I feel is back to bit more like it was before. If I carried on this way it would be a breeze lol . But maybe I'm just having a good week and all this will come back to me.

Hi ladies, thanks for the messages. We're in Krakow for a few days, so not sunny at all :D. The flight was really good actually. Only about a third full, and cos they needed people to sit at the emergency exits hubby and I got an exit row with extra legroom for free. Had loads of space. They checked before takeoff there were no pregnant women there. No, of course not . TBH, if the worst had happened I've had kicked myself out of that door, regardless!

We chose this place before we knew I was pregnant, and beer is cheaper than soft drinks. Oh well. But it's nice to wake up not hungover, and I think even hubby is enjoying not drinking too much

Great the flight went well. Would love alittle break away.. been thinking off booking holiday for May when kids are off. My parents are off to Gran Canaria and I might take me and kids off. Partner doesn't want to go so may aswel go on .

Oh bloody hell - could you not chase them? Xx
I think I will. Nothing arrived to my old address that I know off so think il have to ring the hospital. I've redirected my mail too but there was bit off confusing as our number wasnt showing. So it could've went letter box down rd.

Well that was pretty pointless. It was basically just a blood test. The nurse was quite rude too. She was trying to rush me out because she clearly had somewhere to go. Her bags were all packed on the side and once she done the blood test she said ‘your done now’
I was like oh is that it? I didn’t realise I thought you would be asking me questions. She was like nope your midwife will be in touch.

I’m confused. When will my booking in appointment be? My 12 week scan is in 2 weeks shouldn’t it be before that?? X

That's terrible so should have at least explained that. Normally for me the booking in appointment comes first before scan. Not sure if same in all areas. Think I have heard people get it at same time.

I hate rude nurses.. There is just no need when we are anxious enough and don't know the ins and outs of what they are doing xxx

It says on the nhs website it should be 8-12weeks. Surely they would have already sent the letter along with the blood test letter and the 12 week scan appointment.
I am so confused. I was expecting to walk out of there with my pregnancy notes but she just ushered me out like I wasn’t important at all.
I have logged onto my maternity direct app and have instant messaged the midwife in the hospital I am going to, see if I can get some more information from her xx

Yeah quite right as imagine just leaving you in dark. Hope the midwife gets back to you ASAP. I have only ever got my bloods at the booking in appointment and that's right between 8-12weeks unless your area works different. Sorry I'm not much help, I just think it gives you more stress when get unhelpful or rude midwife or nurse. I have been so lucky with mine so far. They all try help answer as much as poss xxx

TTC I'd definitely chase it. Use the excuse that you're worried it might have gone to a different address.
We've got a week away (UK) in May with our DD. Usually try to have a few days away together each year, but might not manage it for a few years now after this one. Two little ones will be a lot to put on my mum for a bit.

Throwing it down here today, but got out to explore a bit. And found a cupcake shop......:dust:

That's a bit odd Char, was it the actual booking in appt or just an initial appt. I had an initial one with a nurse. Took 5 mins and I didn't get the green notes as she didn't have any. I have the actual booking in appt with a midwife on friday so assuming I'll get the notes then once we do them. My appt was originally on my 10w but the nhs website said it should be before 10w for the blood tests, so I called them and they changed it to friday. I'll only be 6w 3d

Just heard back from the midwife and she said I’ll have my booking in appointment within the next 2 weeks and it doesn’t matter if it is after the the 12 week scan. Weird!! X

When I was pregnant first time round with my son, I had the booking in appointment with my midwife on the Monday and the next day I had a call from the hospital to say that my scan would be on the Friday of that week! So it can be very last minute!

Hello ladies, I honestly don’t no wether anyone would remember me :) I was in the November 2014 mummies, then the June 2017! I’ve got two healthy girls who are now 2 and 5! And me and my partner have just found out we’re having a third
Going by dates we should be due around September 14-19th! We’ve got our first midwife appointment 11th of feb, then 12 week dating scan on the 10th of March!!!
I must admit this pregnancy has been very different to both the girls!!! I am tired like alllllll the time!!! My belly is a lot bigger than it has been with the girls and I’m literally feeling exhausted all the time!! God help me for the next 7 and a half months :p I’m probably at about 7+3 at the moment :)

congrats to all the September mummies!! Hopefully we will all see each other through till the end ❤️ x

That's good you got some answers. The bloods for me was the most important part of booking appointment so least you have had that bit done.. Rest is just health questions about you and family history and check blood pressure and urine sample and weight. Xxx

Agree with you Jac2019 the bloods are the most important part other than the urine test, otherwise as you say just loads of questions they spend more time staring at a screen than they do you I'm afraid. The booking appointment is generally pretty underwhelming. Look forward to your scan that's when it gets exciting, oh and the drinking water before it, don't go overboard with it, I kept drinking and drinking and they made me go and have a wee because I'd actually drank too much and they couldn't see the baby properly....and you'll be in bloody agony if they are running late!xx
