We've told my parents and my brother - we are hols with them right now (arrived Monday when I was 5 weeks exactly) and there's a big water park attached to our hotel... it would have been obvious as I can't do slides so told them!

No one else though

Haha yes might have been obvious! Are you having a nice holiday Wednesday? Very jealous, we are not long back from Majorca, where this one was conceived lol and I'm already feeling like I need another holiday!

I had another blood draw today results came back as 533 so more than doubled in 48 hours I'm pleased with that she said for 17dpo the numbers are looking good! Booked me in for a scan next Friday.

I don't know when my LMP date is so I'm deciding on 10th Feb as a date.

How's everyone getting on?

I've taken the decision to cancel my 6w scan on Monday... it was a private scan and I'm nervous that they won't be able to see anything scanning abdominally, and they won't do transvaginal scans.

I've rescheduled that scan for August when I'm 14 weeks, and I'm going to beg my midwife next week for an early scan given previous losses, as obviously the NHS will do an internal scan if necessary. That's the plan so far!

Congratulations everybody!
I've just found out i'm pregnant with my first child, my due date is the 10th February- really over the moon
No symptoms yet other than fatigue. I can't wait for my 12 week scan! Currently awaiting to hear from the midwife for a booking in appointment.

Hi ladies we got our bfp yesterday estimated due date is 19th Feb I am so excited but ... we booked a holiday to thailand before we found out I don't really know what we was thinking but I will be 19 weeks when we fly has any one here been on a long haul flight during pregnancy I am just so nervous I don't want to do something that might but the baby at risk xx

I flew to Miami when I was pregnant with my daughter. I'd recommend an aisle seat so you can get up and down and visit the toilet and walk about if you need to.

I had an incident on the flight where I became dehydrated because I couldn't get to the toilet as I was trapped in by an awkward man who went to sleep for the whole flight pretty much. And then I had a nose bleed and it wouldn't stop so I ended up in the cabin crews galley. They did look after me though!

Thanks TORino I am nervous but I don't really want to cancel as I think it will be nice for me and hubby to get away and spend some quality time together before baby arrives hubby used to live in thailand and he really want to show me the country but i am sure that i will be fine once i am there its just the flight i am worried about I have never been abroad b4 so will be first ever flight aswell

My partner and I have booked a holiday to Canada for September. We booked it when we were TTC and knew there was a possibility I might be pregnant. We are big travellers so won't let it stop us!

It's a 10 hour flight so I am just going to make sure I get an aisle seat and stay active. I will also be 19 weeks when we fly!!

I'm in Dubai at the moment - 7 hour flight. I'm 5w5d so quite early, but the flight was fine.

Midwife advised to make sure I walk around at least hourly and drink plenty of water

When people say BFP is that a private scan? I'm only roughly 6 weeks along with my first and I'm desperate to know everything is okay! I've done a online midwife referral but I'm still awaiting to hear back for a appointment. From what I understand the first scan is 12 weeks? Or am I wrong?

Bfp is a big fat positive pregnancy test,yeah first scan is usually 12 weeks but you can book a private one at 6-8 weeks if you can't take waiting. We did that with our first but think we'll just wait til the NHS scan this time, think having a toddler to run around after will help the time drag less lol xx

Aww I bet,its all so exciting,especially first time! I can't wait to get booked in with the midwife,must remember to phone the doctors on Monday
