I have put no as I don't think charity is just about donating money, but is about thinking about others. I know times are hard but it saddens me that our society is turning into "I'm alright Jack" train of thought. I have been thinking about this more as Seren is getting older and I want her to grow up thinking about others. So even if its just helping out an elderly neighbour, doing some volunteer work or giving charity shops some old clothes its all helping others. Just something daft as smiling at someone and saying good morning to them can make someone's day better. I give money to our local hospice as they have helped us loads in the past but we have decided that when our children are older we will all sit down and choose a charity for a year to support and help. I am a massive believer in karma, and my nan who was a wise one always used to say to me "you never repay a good turn, you pass it on to someone else".
