Rose I thought the exact same when I watched it before my daughter was born. For some reason now I'm thinking, bring it on! I think maybe because I'm really not enjoying this pregnancy.

13 weeks today! Feeling a bit rough again this morning and was sick for the first time in three days but I guess it's easing x

We have booked to go on holiday to Spain and I will be 20 weeks at the time we are going all inclusive obviously I wont be taking advantage of the alcohol!! Just a question about the food it will all be buffet food I have read that I should be careful of buffet food and salad bars but will obviously need to eat!!! Any advise??

Morning all... Just as I thought I had got away with actual vomiting in the mornings I've had 2 spurts of bile morning sickness this week! I've started having a cup of milk before I go to bed... Maybe it's that! I just wana glow now lol xx

Lhop, I would steer clear of any fish dishes in the buffet as it doesn't take very long at all for fish to go bad and make sure all the meats are either very well chilled or nice and hot. Also watch out for the mayonnaisey stuff and make sure all the fruit and veg looks well washed.

Otherwise enjoy, I'm so jealous!!!!!

Thanks Goat I will def avoid the fish and will make sure the food is hot I don't want to just eat pasta or chips for a week but was worried about the salad hope it will be ok its a 4 star hotel with lots of good reviews so will just be careful!

I'm sure it will be. I was in Italy when pregnant with my first and never had a problem with the salads and fruit. The water in places like Spain and Italy is well sanitized etc so it's not something to worry about too much like it would be in other countries.x

In terms of how the fruit and veg are washed I mean. I would still drink bottled water though.x

I was fine with food whilst on holiday. I just sayed clear of chilled meats. I was worried sick before going but I didn't need to as everything was really fresh. We had a snack bar and I particularly liked going there as everything was made fresh to order and could see chefs cooking.

Just make sure you drink plenty of water. I found it terribly hot and was sat in the shade everyday. I also took a big floppy hat and factor 30. Worth taking some Dioralyte with you just in case of upset tummy to replace salts and minerals.

Thanks so much for your advice its the first week of August so going to be mega hot will drink lots of water and will prob sit in the shade or pool most of the time!! Good idea with the hat I hate my face being in the sun anyway!! We have a snack bar to so il defo be visiting that!! Excited want to start holiday shopping but thought better wait to see what size I am!!!

It's a glorious day here in Norfolk so I'm actually going to move my work outside. Fortunately much of this project I'm working on requires book/report reading which can be done in the sun On the downside, I pitched Flynn as a name last night only to get shot down. Again. 'Too American' apparently but hey-ho, at this rate he'll have to plump for one of my earlier names because he's not contributed one name himself that isn't a joke. Think I'm back to Sam now. Grrr, stubborn husbands!

LHop that sounds lovely. I'm thinking of booking a last minute holiday on September but I was a little scared about buffets and general food abroad... Think il risk it. When I travelled extensively in Africa I took some Citricidal with me. It is grapefruit seed extract and is the BEST natural bug killer. It kills anything dodgy. I took it every day and was the only person not to get diarrhoea or Ill at all and everyone else I met had terrible tummies. You can get it in liquid form. You drop it in some water or juice. It taste HORRENDOUS and I mean horrendous, it's very bitter like grapefruit but I just followed it with something else. I swear by it and take it now all the time when I feel like I'm coming down with something. If you can't face the taste you can get it in tablet form. It might be worth you taking some as a precaution. It is such amazing stuff.

I'm feeling a little under the weather... 3rd or 4th day now. Terribly achey and tired, think my thyroid is playing up. This really worries me as it's dangerous to baby. Got a doctors appointment Monday morning

Think I may just need more medication but will have to wait for blood test results before they'll alter it. Let's hope doctor will get me a test on Monday otherwise I'll have to wait until the following week for when I have my routine test already booked in.

I'm sure the doctors will sort you out Cariad, and you might just be feeling rubbish for normal pregnancy reasons - I'm still feeling rubbish most days, too tired, nauseous, being sick still and just uncomfortable so I'm sure it could just be normal! X

Hello all. I haven't been on for a while. I had some spotting and an early ultrasound had me behind by a couple weeks so I was afraid things were going to go wrong and couldn't bear to talk about it until I knew things were okay.
Had a scan at 9 weeks and baby was measuring 9 wks 4 days and had a wonderful strong heartbeat. Due date is officially December 27th. I'll be 12 weeks this Saturday. Is it okay to hop on over here a little early?

I'm so excited to see all your scans and bump pics as I catch up!
