Not sure about switching, I would think it would be ok if you took it very late? I ovd between CD17 and CD24 on clomid. Are you doing opks to make sure your bloods are done on the correct day? I did opks and temped with clomid to confirm ov.

I ovulated on cd14 when I was on clomid. Naturally I ovulate on cd10. X

I had very irregular cycles without clomid and it got me to 28-32 day cycles so yes I did ovulate earlier.
I did get rather warm at night taking it then but definitely preferable to symptoms throughout the day. My consultant had recommended taking it at bedtime.
Hopefully you won't need it next month, but if you do, could try night time then? Good luck!

Clare, how long have you been on it ?
Took my last tablet yesterday. CD7, defo in my fertile window. Had nausea and was sick today. The hot flushes have been bad today.
I will try evenings next cycle x

Taking them at night I still get moments of hot flushes but they're not as intense as when I took them in the morning.
That seems odd sugar, mine was happy I was ovulating on the days I did. I ovd on CD17 cycle 7 and that has obviously worked! At least you are responding to it, I'm sure one of these cycles will work for you. I was working on the basis that if there was an egg there and we were making sure there was plenty of sperm there sooner or later it had to work...

I agree and I know it's doing something because my periods are so heavy which only happens when I ov. My Dr thinks anything over 30 isn't much help. I think he's just trying to give me the best shot I can have. I am going to start testing from day 29 I think. That way there shouldn't be much time between testing and bleeding. Not sure it's even worth to test!

CD13. Positive opk this morning. Have some intense cramping and pressure.
I usually ovulate CD13 ( or try too ) before on clomid.
Off work today because I feel so shit, raging headache too.
Think I will ovulate later, BD this morning, will again tonight x

Hi ladies,
I got to know that I have PCO last Aug when I tried to conceive and it was unsuccessful. Went to a clinic to seek for doc's advice. He put me on metformin for 30 days. After day 15 of taking metformin, I really got stressed out as I don't feel any changes in my body. I don't even experienced any cramps which I used to have sometime right before my period starts. This time I went to see a obgyn specialist doc. He told me the metformin dosage that the other doctor advised is very low and its not gonna help in any way. Then the obgyn, put me on Duphaston for 5 days for period to come. And after getting my period, starting from day 2 of period, he asked me to take clomid for 5 days from period day 2 to induce ovulation and production of egg. The obgyn told me to visit him on day 10 from the day I started to take Clomid for scanning to see if there's an egg. There was one egg seen but it was not matured enough to be released. The obgyn doc told me to come back in another 6 days to scan again to see if the egg is big enough to be released. When visiting the obgyn doc 6 days later, there was one huge matured egg which is ready for ovulation. Then the doc induced Ovidrel to ensure the egg to release from follicles. He also told me to have sex on the same day and the next day. It's been 8 days since I had tried to conceive. I know it's too early to test for pregnancy. Im having cramps lately but not sure if its implantation cramps or menstruation cramps. Just thought of, what if im not pregnant. Do I need to repeat doing what doctor has advised me (take duphaston for period to come and take clomid for 5 days starting from day 2 of period) and try it out again? Please someone help me.....

I'm CD 8 on my first cycle if clomid 50mg, I took it starting on CD2 and had no symptoms at all while taking them. Did anyone have symptoms after their tablets finished? What were they? Did anyone use opks?

Hi Trying and welcome. I had some symptoms around the middle of my cycle, I was a bit warm at night and was moody. I did use opks and temping to track my ovulation with the clomid. I also had follicle tracking scans on my first cycle to check I was on the correct dose. I ovulated between CD17 and CD24 on my clomid cycles, so without tracking ovulation it would have been difficult to know when to dtd on the optimum days. Are you having any tracking scans or blood tests?

Thanks snowbee, I'm only having a day 21 blood test this cycle so for to wait for that to happen, I was advised to start the clear blue testing today to try to track down ovulation but so far it's not picking up increased oestrogen so will keep checking, I'm hoping that day 8 is way early for the rise to shop up and it'll come in time.
