Christmas 2013 Thread!

Because Jensen's only going to be 3 months we're mainly getting things he can grow with, our absolute maximum budget is £200, but the only other times he'll get toys are Easter & his birthday.

Lamaze Soft Chime Garden WAS £19.50 PAID £4.85 (Tesco)
Lamaze Stacking Ball WAS £10.99 PAID £2.35 (Tesco)
Disney Baby Play Pal - Thumper £10.99 (Argos)
Disney Baby Nemo Playset WAS £19.99 PAID £14.99 (Argos)

You ladies are super organised! I basically went through the Argos catalogue and circled everything I wanted for M.
I'm going to be hunting them down for cheaper though!
She's getting a trike for her birthday so not sure what to do for christmas!

If they did that cardi in adult sizes then I'd have got myself one by now, it's amazing!

Also... that Christmas pudding hat... that goes up to 16 years - my head won't have grown that much since I was 16, right?!

I absolutely love the idea of a Christmas Eve box!!

We have lots of traditions that we want to include for Ava's Christmas but want to start out own to so on the look out for ideas...

I've been really good with Ava's christams presents getting a few bits every month now going to get a few bits every week and get her main ones he end of November and she will be ready :) x

Me too. Would love that cardi for me. Definitely think 16 = fully grown adult head. Go for it!

You ladies are making me want to buy all these Christmas jumpers from Next!

Nat I'm with you on the sales! x

I was always a big Christmas fan, had started to go off it a bit though but very excited for this year now we have our LO.

We don't have any other young children or babies in our immediate family, our LO is our parents first grandchild on both sides so I am sure she will get spoiled! I don't plan to go mad but I am sure I will get carried away. Most toys seems to be 6m+ though, she'll be 5 months at Christmas. I hope it is okay to get her some 6m toys early!?!?!

Those r lovely nat! Think im gonna get her the cardigan, too cute to resist lol. Dunno weather to get 9-12m or 12-18m tho! She will be 1 on 10thJan so im guessing by xmas she will just about be out of her 9-12 stuff but I dont want to get 12-18 and it to be huge on her! Xx

Glad im not the only crazy mummy who's excited for Xmas!! It will be my little girls 3rd christmas! For her first christmas she was only 1 month old so didn't get all the fun, & Last year she managed to open a few pressies on her own before we stepped in and helped her so hopefully this year she will be alot more into it :D So far we have bought 17 Christmas pressies.. Im not going to lie but shes been spoilt a little already.. The best present we have got her so far is a tablet.. we were a little worried that she would be to young for it but V tech do a tablet for baby's around 12 months!! I'm unsure on what else to get her.. Hubby bought her a furby even though i told him she probably wouldn't use it but he doesn't listen Ha ha! Any ideas on what to get? Shes started to speak a bit so want some great interactive and shes into everything Disney!! Once we have bought everything we then have the fun of splitting it between her birthday (25th Nov) & Xmas..

Also love the idea of Xmas eve DVD!! Our tradition hasn't quite been made yet.. But because my dad drives a wagon we always make sure we take her to see the coca cola trucks.

i do love using this for her too.. http://www.portablenorthpole.com/home

I do this every year and my older ones ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! I cannot praise it enough, do it do it do it.

nat you're making me buy pj's!

When do Primark start with christmas things? x

Omg I love love love all those pyjamas! I must get some for Trey! (And me:))

I've just done my Christmas list and i'm currently on a hunt for 3 plain stockings! I want personalised ones (mummy, daddy, Trey) but they are soo expensive, I've decided to customise some plain ones. I'm so excited - such ad saddo lol.

If anyone has any recommendation for plain stockings please let me know!

Hey BB, have you checked ebay / amazon etc?

I think one of the girls on here (I want to say RussellMuscle?) posted a link to a friends website recently - it was all crafty stuff, really nice at reasonable prices...maybe she will see this and post again!

I just had a really quick google and found this website - not sure if there is minimum delivery or any other stipulations, but the prices look good?

If I see anything else, I'll post it xxx
