Babydust, Im glad your hips arent as bad today! Sorry about the elephant! But lol thats exactly like what mine did! My hip got less sore but then my pubic bone started! Well its kinda off centre to the right!?

You also just reminded me of when mt OH worked for his dad!
His dad had a warehouse and haulage company and Joe did alsorts from drive the trucks to Morroco to help unload them and fix them and a bit of everything really! One day he sold it! Gone! Joe went to work and his dad said basically tomorrow, this place belongs to someone else!
Joe was not only jobless but had, as you do, always thought that he and his brothers would take over the company in later life so his whole life plan was gone!
I did find it weird! I couldnt do that to my children!? But yeh hes ok now though!

hi girls hope your all ok im still poorly am actually considering going to doctor now if no better by monday now have bad cough as well as sore throat and runny nose and got sent home from work yesterday as was nearly passing out and couldnt breathe properly on the shop floor with the air conditioning so am off work sick again think im off till tuesday now when i will hopefully be better xxxxxxxxxxx

Morning!! Having a quiet day today at home with the kids. Yesterday was quite a c****y day, as I was in a lot of pain from the SPD, & spent a lot of the day in tears, so feeling pretty tired now.

Chedz, have a great day shopping!!!!! Would love to go & buy some baby stuff, but Hubby keeps saying that the scan wasnt 100% its a girl, so we dont know for definate, what a SPOILSPORT!!(nicest name I could think of!!)

Hey ladies!!
Had a nice day yesterday! Oh got me a nice dress because I was down that I got SPD lol and next week he is taking me to get my hair cut!! He can be sweet sometimes!
Today is driving me nuts! I NEED to tidy up but each time I try I hurt! The whole PGP including the SPD is killing me today! And kiddies arent being on their best behavior! Even now when they are in bed, they keep getting up and messing around? Joe has to keeptelling them!

Just popping on to say hi!
Sorry to hear about all the sore hips that doesn't sound very nice at all.

I'm still on holiday but we've stopped off in an internet cafe, and I could not resist coming on for a peek to check on you all!

We are having a nice holiday although it has been a bit too hot for my liking. We were in Florence for 4 days first, and now we have moved to a small town called Corniglia on the coast. I'm not too happy at the moment as have just found out there is a 24hr train strike in italy starting tonight at 9pm. My question is why didn't the woman at the ticket office this morning tell us that as we bought 3 day train tickets to travel around this area? There are 5 little villages all close to each other but the only way to move between them is train (or boat). Am annoyed because we were going to try a different town for dinner tonight. And it means we can't go anywhere tomorrow either.

I also was not impressed yesterday when we got to our accommodation - they said there was a problem with the room so we had to go elsewhere for 1 night. The shower was so small I had to squeeze my stomach through to get in. And the walls were so thin you could hear EVERYTHING from the room next door which seemed to have about 10 people in it taking showers at 3am. Oh yes, you could especially hear everything from their toilet. So I kept getting woken up by weeing and flushing noises. We haven't paid for it yet - but I think I will be arguing the final cost when we leave. I don't even believe there was a problem with the room, I think they had just double-booked (but I saw my name was at the top of the reservations page as I booked in JANUARY!!!!). We got into our own room today and it is very nice. Then we were at the train station and a man said "does anyone want these day passes for the boat" so we said yes and have just had a spin along the coast - the tickets were 23 euros each but we got ours free!! so that cheered me up a bit!

Oh yes - the pregnancy thing. To be honest I don't feel pregnant at all at the moment. I don't think anything is wrong, no pain or that, but I just don't feel anything down there. Apart from (tmi alert) when we tried to BD - ouchy - no more of that thanks!

Right - paying by the minute here so better go - wrote a bit more than I meant to!

Hi ladies....hope no-one minds if I join you in this thread.

KMAC - What a pain with the train tickets! I have a bit of a hatred for Florence trains personally. My DH took me there for my 30th birthday and we bought our ticket from the airport and then got on the train. Half way to Florence the ticket lady came to check our tickets and apparently you have to stamp them at the little red boxes on the platform....only no-one had told us that so we didn't and got fined 80 euro's Apart from that Florence was beautiful and i would go back there tomorrow if I could. If you get chance you must see Michaelangelo's David....it's breathtaking.

Sorry to hear about everyones SPD....mine is constantantly giving me trouble and it's sooooo annoying

hi all how is everyone
still off work but hoping to return wednesday still not quite right but getting better slowly
last night the spd kicked in good and proper woke up in absolute agony about 4am my hip was so sore i didnt know what to do with myself and when i tried to move the pain in my pubic bones was really really bad its going to be a long painful pregnancy xxxxxxxxxxxx

Rach...that's pants about your SPD. I'm actually off work with mine at the minute and have been for about 6 weeks now. I found that sitting at my desk all day was giving me such a bad back that by the time I got home at night I could hardly walk! Luckily I get full pay sick leave for 26 weeks so I'm not forced to have to work

Morning girls, feeling so tired today, back & hips were so sore yesterday then woke up in the night as a muscle in my stomach went into spasm & no matter what I did it wouldnt ease, took ages to go back to sleep. Luckily Im signed off work at the mo, but I dont get paid for mine which is such a pain!! On a good note though, Bump was kicking like crazy yesterday, my eldest daughter got to feel 'her' kicking' which made her day!! So sweet, but she soon stopped kicking when daddy wanted to feel!!

Poo about the train tickets in Florence ladies! My dad went and told me about it for when I went to Rome and kept insisting that I get it stamped or whatever you do! But luckily it isnt like that in Rome!

Rach Im sorry your having so much pain! Mines bad but yours sounds a lot worse! I have found yesterday that its also in the left side of my pubic bone too if I do to much! Its so hard not to do things though isnt it? I swept my living room floor! OWWWWWWWUCH! Well I learnt my lesson! Cant even sweep up

I find with my SPD.....the more I do the more it hurts which is why I got myself signed off work.

Lisapink - I've been having that muscle spasm in my stomach too....it's only if I turn onto my back in the night but it ruddy hurts like hell

Hi everyone

Haven't been on for ages as computer has been broken but all fixed now!

I've been back at work for a week since being off with sickness and I'm feeling much better - more energy and less sick but think I have sciatica on the right. Everytime I bend over, I get a shooting pain in my bum cheek! Got midwife tomorrow so will ask her - also think I'm really big and getting paranoid about the big bump so will have to ask her about that too

i finally go back to work today although still not 100% am at least about 75% now which is loads better than ive been in the last 2 weeks
got my body pillow out last night and its got all horrible while its been stored away am going to have to buy a new one am managing at moment with pillow between legs but i lose it in night so gonna hunt town today for a cheap body pillow
have started feeling little movements from the twins nothing spectacular as of yet but its still early days am looking forward to my next scan now which is 2 weeks 2moro

Alicebabe..Good to have you back online. I feel massive too. Have you posted a recent piccie...I will tell you if I am bigger than you or not! A friend of mine is 6 days ahead of me and soooo much smaller. I am starting to feel like a wierdo!

Leanne - how did you go at the docs?

Hope everyones aches and pains are getting better?

Ive just been left a whole load of books about what to do with the baby once it arrives. I know it sounds stupid but I hadnt really thought about that bit! Ive been reading so much on being pregnant that I havent even thought about how to feed, wind, wash, ect...I have A LOT to learn!

Hey Rach!

Ive just got my pregnancy pillow. I was hoping it might stop me from sleeping on my back..but it doesnt, I just roll over and sleep on top of all the bumps which does not make for a good nights sleep!

Glad you are feeling better. Looking forward to seeing your next scan picture x
