Hi everyone

Thought this thread had slipped too far down the page!
Hope everyone is feeling ok and all illnesses have gone!
My nausea came back today and i also was sobbing uncontrollably for ages... is that normal? Have been feeling a bit down in the dumps but don't know why.
Better get myself sorted - got a wedding reception tonight. Hope I feel better when I get there. Already missed out on a BBQ this afternoon - sent DH on his own so I could cry in peace!

Come on girls - lets get the chat going again!!

Hello ladies,

I hope you are all doing well this morning! sorry babydust to hear that your sickness has come back that really sucks. I hope its only temporary and eases off soon.
aw kmac and rach, hope you two are feeling a bit chirpier today

Today I think we might go to town to do some shopping (well, window shopping ). The weather is pretty nice here, was boiling hot in the bedroom this morning then again my room has always been like a green house!

For holidays, we're going on an extended trip... going to China, Japan, Hawaii, West Coast of US and lastly Florida (for like a month as OH's parents live there). We always wanted to do a world trip and this is the last opportunity as just us. It's quite a lot of flying but doctor and mid-wife seem fine with it. We are going to be absolutely broke when we get back though :'(

I'm feeling more cheerful today. Had a nice afternoon at the shops with my friend who I haven't seen for ages. Got a few bits and bobs for my holiday. I'm going to Italy on Tuesday for 10 days - so don't be alarmed when I disappear!
My mum is comng to cat-sit for us so tomorrow we need to get the house cleaned and organised - it's not that bad but i don't want her finding anything to comment on!!

babydust poor you hun i had spd on last 2 pregnancies and last time it hit at 16 weeks i was in agony i ended up on crutches am dreading it coming back this time ive already had a few twinges in my hips and groin when i turn over in bed in nights hope your feeling better soon xxx

(**edit** not sure whats going on with my tickers! They used to say the same amount of days so Ive lost one somewhere! I suppose I should change them anyway as the Hosp is still going by my LMP date whereas my tickers were on my ov date, which is 2 days different and Im bound to get confused if I start using different dates to the hosp arent I!)

mine was fab with the fact that we saw Ruby kick my phone which was on my tummy it was great!

OH had to work sat and sunday though so he hasnt had a day off since last week which was a bit poo

Good thanks. Got a bit of a cold (or something similar) at the moment that my boss kindly gave me! Doh - wish she had stayed at home and kept it to herself! Saw Midwife last week and heard the heartbeat (got my own doppler but it was nice to hear it on her all singing all dancing one - LO was moving around trying to get away from it though!) Told her my Boss had been ill and she said that it would be worse for me if I did get it as a cold that everyone else can cope fine with is worse for us poor lot! Ho hum, hoping its on its way out now though - I had such a sore throat over the weekend its was rubbish, but it feels much better today, I just sound like a man!

My Mum is suprised everytime I see her that my bump has grown again, even though its usually only a couple of days in between times! hehe - I love it! Pregnancy is the only time women love being fat!

nothing much to report here went to hospital yesterday and did all the booking bloods etc also booked my gtt test and they sent the forms off for my anomoly (sp) scan works out quite well as ive got a scan with consultant at 18 weeks then anomoly scan at about 20 weeks then another consultant scan at 22 weeks so will get to see babies 3 times in 4 weeks
working today but counting down now 11 weeks to go and 1 of those is a week off at end of july cant wait really dont feel like it today still got a sore throat and now got a cold as well

HELLLLLOOOOOO!!!! I forgot about this thread!! ??? haha I would be more embarrassed but Im pregnant lol, Im forgiven haha

BD, Does it feel like a hot poker is stuck in your hip? I have been having sooooooo much trouble with one side, now I have got this pain the other side but at the front and its killing me! I cant turn in bed without a scream and I limp! (though its not all the time? Sometimes they are a little better, get worse at the night!?)
I got referred to the physio and she gave me exercises and just now it hurt hell more?! Since starting them, the front pain came?! I hope to goodness it isnt SPD or the other one as I dont want them lol so I will be mad lmao!

Kmac have a great hol! I may have missed but where abouts in Italy has she gone too??

Rach, I hope you feel better soon!

babydust and lea your both sounding like you may have spd coming i hope not
mine is fine in morning by the afternoon im slightly limping by time i go to bed i cant wait to lie down and when i turn over in bed my groin makes crunch noises and hurts like hell
girls if physio diagnose you with it do yourselves a massive favour and invest in a body pillow it saved me loads of pain last time i used to tuck half of it between my legs and tuck the rest behind my back xxxxxx

I do hope it isnt SPD? Im not getting pain in the pubic bone though? So hopefully it isnt that, I have no idea? I dont get a crunch either? Just feel like my hip is out of socket and makes me yelp!? But i think one of them pillows is a good idea for me whatever they diagnose as it will keep my hips in place more I would think??

Morning girls, feeling crap today, have physio for my SPD this afternoon, its blooming driving me mad!! But on a good note I have my 20 week scan tommorrow & fingers crossed we'll know what we are having!!

I hope that everyone else is feeling better & getting some rest.

Babydust! Thats shocking!
I take it you didnt keep the bone - otherwise Id be saying take a pic and get some evidence of it. I hope it hasnt done her any damage, like cutting her mouth or something.

I would write to them (Head Office) setting out what happened and complain! I wrote to complain about McDs once as the staff were swearing and allsorts & I thought it was out of order and it made me feel really uncomfortable in there - they sent me a voucher to use next time I went - bit like your free ice cream - doesnt really help much but at least you get an apology!

Well, the physio was fun (NOT!), had to have my pelvis manipulated into place & it bloody hurts now!!!!

Babydust, tha is awful about the McD's incident!! I'd definately complain to the Head Office. Hope she is ok & it didnt frighten her too much.
