when i got home from work yesterday o/h was really grumpy so in the end i went for a long soak in bath when i got out he informed me he was going out for a pint :talkhand: (we had planned to watch a film and have a chinese) so we ended up rowing he went out and i ended up in loads of pain in my stomach (i think prob due to stress from arguing) couldnt sleep as my belly was hurting so watched tv on sofa he came in at 2:30 (rowed some more) then went to bed and had to fight with that drunken slob the rest of the night for quilt :( in the end got up at 6 as not getting any sleep anyway so am totally shattered feel sick and want to hit him with a sledge hammer  and now he thinks hes going to lie in all morning then go and fix a friends pc this afternoon :shakehead: so no chance of me catching up on any sleep today think im going to explode .........................

Morning all!
Thought I had better post before I get in trouble again!

Sorry your DH's have been so inconsiderate babydust and rach. I'm lucky my DH isn't much of a drinker. In saying that we were out last night and he had a fair few but at least I was there too! A couple of friends were through from Glasgow and we went out for a nice meal and some drinks.
I had been considering before I went having a wine & soda to drink as I have really been craving wine (and MW said occassional glass would be fine). In restaurant I ordered a lime and soda in the end - but he must have thought I said wine cos that's what he brought. I thought that was a bit of a coincidence! I did drink it   please don't think badly of me, it was def more soda than wine but enought to get a wee taste. Anyway we had a nice night but now I am exhausted - still trying to fight off these sniffles.

We are going on a day trip today - so I better get dressed soon - it was my idea. Just fancy a change of scenery and a nice pub lunch somewhere!! Think we are going to drive down to the Borders as it doesn't take long from here.

Hope everyone is ok, and your OH's behave themselves now!!
xxxxx

Rach and Babydust you need to start keeping a beating stick by your bed for when they come in drunk  that or get some nice waterproof difficult to budge blue mascara for them :rotfl: Hope you are both having a rest now

Kmac the odd bit of wine won't hurt and glad you had a good time.

I got hardly any sleep and was up at 6am but I have put a little bit of weight back on I had lost 5 kilos and now have put 1 of them back on so phew. I have also had 2 meals today already lol and it is the first day I have been able to have something at breakfast AND lunch for about 5 weeks so I am crossing my fingers this is the end of the sicky not eating phase :cheer:

Spent the morning draggin OH and 3 bored kids round Mothercare and Toys'R'Us (well the kids didn't mind the latter), then had a heart attack when the one time DD was holding daddy's hand and not mine she wandered off and we thought she had been snatched bloody men :wall: so she had my hand the rest of the day after we found her sobbing her heart out! Now going to have a nap while the kids play and hubby watches ManU

Morning everyone!

Up early today (well 7am is early for the weekends!) as OH is away doing the Glasgow to Edinburgh cycle ride......nice peaceful day for me! :cheer: more fool him as he has done no training on the bike....

Sorry not been on much, been feeling a bit low lately and went to meet my friend yesterday who I havent seen since early pregnancy and he kindly told me I looked "fuller in the face" why do people think its ok to comment on your figure when you're pregnant..... I didnt think I looked that bad
and.....when I was on train home, OH told me to ring him when I was 5 mins away so he would come and pick me up (house is about 3 min drive from train station) I did but when I got off the train I had to wait another 5 mins on him getting there! I know I shouldnt moan and 5 mins isnt long, but its the tiny little things getting to me at the moment!

On a happier note I got my dress!! and I'm 20weeks today....half way! :cheer: woooo to me! off for some retail therapy later! :cheer:

rach and babydust - know what you mean about OHs being pain in the a******

kmac- odd glass is fine  I've had a glass of champagne at one of the weddings I was at..

Hope everyone else is ok..... will post more later when I'm in a better mood... :wall: :wall:

Hi

Wow so much to catch up on.

Babydust:  that everything turns out ok.

Lea: hi and hope you don't get this bug. I'm still not certain if mine's a bug or just pregnancy sniffles but either way hope you are ok.

Mik: Glad you are having a good day :cheer: I also dragged stuart around baby shops yesterday its all such a mind field.

Lisaspoon: hope you are feeling a bit better.

Rach: Glad you are feeling better, enjoy your rest now you've finished work. :cheer:

Kmac: enjoy the odd glass if you want. I had a glass a wedding recently and a couple of glasses when we were on holdiday. Not had any since so i don't feel too guilty.

Hi to everyone else.

Still got the snuffles myself but thankfully i didn't catch stuarts stomach bug. We've worked out that i'm going to finish work just before Christmas if everything works out ok so thats put me in a good mood since friday.

No other news but just wanted to say hello.

well yesterday we bought the paint for what will be the new computer room :D the walls are quite bad so i thought id be clever and buy textured paint :shakehead: oh my god we had to spread it on with a wallpaper scraper :rotfl: o/h was not impressed its a really small room though so didnt take him too long its only 6 foot by 7 then went to carpet right and they had 75% off all the remnants and we managed to find a really nice carpet for the room for bargain price of 11 pound :cheer: so o/h had a very busy day :rotfl: my whole downstairs looks like a bomb has hit it though so he will have another busy one today before he goes to work :rotfl: awwww aint payback a biatch :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: xxxxxxxxxx

babydust glad your spd isnt worse after all that walking and getting lost  sorry there is still no news  everything will be ok for her  xxxxxxxxxxxxx

morning all  well am enjoying my leave so far :D havent given work a single thought since i left on friday :D been doing loads of reading i have a bookcase full of books that ive had no time to read in the last few years so i fully intend to plough my way through some of them before the babies are born :D busy week this week christopher has another appointment this morning with the eye specialist :( am dreading that although my sister is going to come with us and hold him for me (he has to have drops put in his eyes so they can look at them better) theres no way i would be able to hold him still my belly is just too big now :(
and we got our next scan on thursday which i cant wait for im so scared now as time goes on i just need to know my babies are still ok and growing well im hoping they will change us to fortnightly scans now instead of monthly ones im sure they did about this time on christopher and then to weekly from about 34 weeks :D a month is just too long for me now after what happened to jamie
hope everyones ok and having a nice day xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Morning all

So much to catch up on, so sorry if I miss anyone out......

Babydust - I really hope everything is ok with your SIL . Glad your long walk didn't agrevate your SPD.

Rach - Yay, no more work, lucky you, I am so jealous, I've got 12 weeks left, boo hoo :( :(

Lea - Not long now till a load of us join you in Tri 3, I can't wait, we're gonna be joining the big girls :cheer: :cheer:

Kmac - When I was away at the weekend i had half a glass of wine one night and could only have a sip as it went straight to my head, on my last night I really fancied a glass of white and this time it went down well. I wouldn't worry about the odd glass :) .

MIK - Glad your childcare situation is sorted, it must be such a relief.

Hi to everyone else.

We had a lovely weekend away, although on the first day I had a little scare, we were walking down a hill with me pushing our DD in her buggy, I walked into my OH with the buggy and it bounced back into my belly really harshly, it hurt so much, my whole belly tensed up and hurt all over. I started to really worry, so as soon as we arrived at the house we were staying at I had to go and lie down and feel for baby movements, I was really scared, luckily the LO was well behaved and gave me a kick as soon as I lay down, it was such a relief :)

The house we stayed at was gorgeous, this is where we stayed http://www.nationaltrustcottages.co.uk/. (the place on the left) it was so relaxing and lovely for DD to spend lots of time with her grandparents, aunt, uncle and cousin.

Take care everyone. Bx

Hi,
I'm in a bit of a grump today as firstly, the tiredness that everyone else has been moaning about seems to have caught up with me in the last week :bored: , and Im knackered, secondly, I can't concentrate properly at work and have TONS to do, thirdly, I still have the weird feeling in my throat - I think it's cos LO is high up and my bump has grown up instead of out, and its pushing my tummy up and making acid or something come upwards, but the weird thing is its not burning like most people get, its a sort of (hard to describe) cold feeling in the back of my chest and throat and it doesnt hurt its just SO annoying, fourthly, Im a bit short of breath again today and finally, my back is really hurting. I do get a bad lower back from time to time (when not PG) which hurts for a few days and then sorts itself out, so I think its probably that rather than a specifically pregnancy related thing (part of me hopes it is that as I know it will sort itself out eventually but the other part knows how bloody painful and annoying it is!) I can't stand up properly as it hurts to straighten my back out......if it is the same as usual then I will get to a point where I either freeze up or where I am so bent over when I walk I look like an old woman, and then it will get better after that. Great! It hasnt happened since before I got PG so I just hope it doesn't continue too long. Im hoping a warm bath and a massage from DH will help later, if I can lift my legs up high enough to get in the bath that is
Sorry for whinging, Im just having one of those 'feeling sorry for myself' days I think...... :(

bex looks like a lovely place where you stayed hun glad you had a good weekend and all was ok after your nasty bump  xxx

chok sorry everythings catching up with you hun hope your back improves soon  omg only another 2 days and you will be leaving us :( and running off to that scary place where they give birth (3rd tri) xxx

well christophers eye appointment went quite well the turn in his eye apparently is caused by him being long sighted which glasses should correct we have a prescription for his 1st pair of glasses :( going to wait till friday so o/h can come to specsavers with me specialist is going to see him again in about 6 months she did say we will probably find it impossible to keep glasses on him but not to worry as he will get better as he gets older :? so should be fun lol he wont keep a hat on for more than 2 minutes cant imagine him keeping specs on :( bless him hes been really miserable all day he had to have drops in that make the pupils huge so weve had to keep him out of the light all day as it takes up to 12 hours to wear off and he was screaming every time any light got to his eyes plus he keeps falling over as his vision is all blurry
well thats 1 appointment out of the way this week just the scan to go on thursday now  everything is ok with my babies and they are growing well xxxxxxx

Hi Everyone!

rach - awww poor christopher  hope he likes his specs when you get them..... and will be thinking of you on thurs when you get your scan! :D

chok - sorry you're feeling down hun have some     hope your back gets better soon.. have you thought of any physio for it? hope that uterus starts popping forward soon! cant be anymore room to go up!

Bexie - glad you had a good weekend, looks lovely! Glad your bump wasnt too bad! :)

babydust - really hope your SIL is ok... for her.... glad you had a good walk though!

Well as you know I had my 20 week scan today, and it was amazing! I cant believe the detail and the sonographer was really nice and talked us though everything she was looking at! :D I feel much more relaxed now, and also found out I have an anterior placenta too so its made me a bit more relaxed about wanting to feel movements all the time :D
OH seems much happier too, he was quite worried about this scan because of the detail they go into.....but everything is ok!
Work was boring as usual, although I seem to have more energy this week which is helping a bit... Only about 3 months till I finsh up! woooooooo!!
Meeting a friend at the weekend who I havent seen in a few years,..... suggested saturday to her as I'm up to my mums on Sunday ...which was fine... now its saturday evening! .... its through in Edinburgh which will be a train or drive through (if i can get parked) ..... I cant do late nights anymore.... some people only think of themselves! Ok, so I suppose I'm being a bit selfish too but....ya know what its like! :wall: :wall:

lisa so glad all was ok at your scan hun :D and your feeling more relaxed  can your friend not meet you in the day maybe try explaining that your not really up to an evening meet and see what she says  xxx

okies im going to jump into the middle of all this, sorry.

Wanted to say hi and hope your all okay. would love to get to know you all in here as i guess we got a couple of months with each other. Im sooooo uneasy about all this and really unsure about things relating with pregnancy, but hopefully i'll pick it up as i go.

Scarlett (Lottie)
