Morning all!

Hope you have recovered from your daughter's b'day Lisa!

How is everyone else?? Good luck for your scan chok.

I am still feeling quite good which is good as have a busy day planned. Off through to Glasgow to visit my 'friend' from school who really annoys me but he's home from Australia and leaving again today - I should really have left already - that's how keen i am (not). Then I am meeting a girl from school who I haven't seen for at least 10 years for lunch, then I am meeting my old next door neighbour for coffee after that! THEN I have to go to my parents house as my uncle (who is 68!!) is up visiting with his new "lady friend" so I'm going for a nosey (and dinner!) PHEW!! I will be knackered!!

OOh - can't believe I nearly forgot!! Yesterday I was feeling lots of pops, but thought I was just gassy. But when we were in bed last night DH had his hand n my bump and we felt a definite thud!! I was so happy!!
And it kept going for ages afterwards as well!!

Lisa that pram is £575 Im so torn as its like £575? wft? hahaha But they are all expensivethese days arent they ? (say yes, say yes) And after a while when I no longer use it I can put it on ebay and get some money back?! haha Yes this is me talking myself into it being ok to go buy it haha

Lea, yep prams are expensive!!! I didnt see that one in my local Mamas & Papas. Cant believe the prices of prams, think we'll just be going for the Luna, not going to be able to afford anything more. Good idea about reselling it, was talking about that with Hubby to try & justify £600 on the one we saw!!

Babydust, D (Megan) had an amazing birthday!! Ended up a 3 day thing for her!! On Thursday, my parents took her shopping to Disney Store to pick her present, then out for lunch. Friday was her actual birthday, she got loads, then we went to a farm for the morning, then popped into Toys R Us to let her spend some birthday money, she had £15, chose something for £10 & gave her £5 to her sister to buy something. Then on Sat, it was her actual party. No wonder Im shattered!! LOL!! Thank god no more birthdays this year!!

hi all sorry not quite with it today and cant remember anything i read am brain dead hope everyones ok
horrible day in work today going to get my feet in the foot spa in a mo and give them a nice soak 22 more shifts in work (not that im counting) feeling really stressed today am tired and fed up and a nervous wreck about 2moros scan hoping and praying all will be ok with my babies i think its worse as this one is the anomaly scan which is done in the main xray department which means it will be a sonographer and not my consultant prefer my consultant doing my scans as he understands what we are going through everytime we have a scan enough moaning off me sorry everyone gonna try and get a nice early night and hopefully some sleep ready for the morning
scan is nice and early 9:20 so hopefully be home by 11 with some good news and maybe even know if we are team blue pink or purple lol (or if we are still green) xxxxxxxxxxxx

Oh I thought your scan was on Thursday lol! Everything will be fine hun! Im glad its early for you so you dont have to spend all day worrying!!

Well after showing Joe all the prams I like in the shop, he picked the Skate! lol So looks like we are definitely getting that one!! Just need someone to tell me that its ok to spend all that money as I need this pram hahaha

I'm still tryin to shake off the morning sickness...not been physically sick for over a week now but had a rough day today think its tiredness thats doing it. I'm shattered, 2 busy weekends in a row that have done it!

Well we have just got back from watching Mama Mia - we saw the stage show on our honeymoon and loved it and to be honest the film is just as much fun - I got all emotional though and sobbed to myself for half of the film, it was filmed in Skiathos which is where Hannah (my daughter for anyone who doesnt know) is working and living at the moment and my bloody hormones just made me miss her so much whilst I was watching it....... I think Dave thought I had taken leave of my senses, everyone around us was laughing and singing along and I was crying my eyes out!! Never mind she is back on the 10th October and although she has the chance to work in the Caribbean for the winter has decided to apply for Lapland so that she can go to her graduation in November and then will be home by February when the baby is due.....

Anyway I am going to take my red raw eyes to bed and hope I look a bit better in the morning

lea if its what you want then go for it i certainly would and have in the past although this time im going for practicality (has to be as light as possible and fold 1 handed) although still dont know how il manage to fold it while holding 2 babies and watching christopher doesnt run away the one i want is called a graco duo sport (i think) i chose it a while back but now they dont seem to have it anywhere so i might have to rethink might check the graco web site later see if i can get it from them direct xxx

Good luck for your scan Rach, how exciting to see you babies again.

Oh I really want to see Mama Mia, I was suppose to go the other week, but my OH needed my car to drive to Telford to look at a car for me so had to cancel, was gutted, it's stopped showing here now, but I think it might be coming back so I'll have to round the girls up for a singalong. OH looking at the car was a waste of time, it was being sold by a trader and he didn't ever turn up to show it him, the landlady of the site was there and had the keys for the vehicle so let him go for a drive in it. Got five miles down the road and it ran out of diesel!!!! Eventually managed to get it back to the forecourt and noticed it was leaking oil everywhere, so drove miles from ours to look at a heap!!!

But yesterday got myself a new car. Yipee, a mondeo estate and it is great, I'm in love for the time being. I feel really low in it though as my previous car was a 4 x 4 so I was really high up, now I feel like I'm sitting on the floor!!! Love your new car babydust, it looks really luxurious.

My DD was really sweet yesterday, I keep on showing her my big belly and she come up to it and pats it, instead yesterday she kissed it, I think she's too young to understand that there is a baby in my belly. When we went to the hospital yesterday my consultant told me I needed to make sure I had enough rest as our DD was quite a low birth weight with low fluid levels, so I nugged my OH to make sure he heard that part. I'm hoping when I get to 30 + he'll start to wait on me (as if!!!!).

we are back and my babies seem to be ok and doing well it was a lovely scan this time they were so close together it looked like they were chatting their heads were really close they have now moved to right and left instead of upper and lower which is probably why i thought i was feeling loads of movement off 1 and not the other im probably feeling both but both in same place on my bladder
oh and that all important what sex they are???????
we are blessed with another 2 boys so no girls for me ever as this is definately my last pregnancy but i dont mind at all im over the moon that they both seem healthy and well
and omg they are the same sex so if they dont look different at birth ive no idea how i will tell them apart xxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I've heard of people putting nail vanish on one of their babies finger nails if they have identical twins, it's suppose to help!! I'm sure you'll be able to tell them apart though.

Bexie, great idea about nail varnish if they were girls but I think Rach would be asking for trouble if she starts painting her boy's fingers nails from such an early age!!

OOOOOooohh and I purchased a doppler last night!! according to the email update its been "dispatched"
