Hello girlies, hope everyone is ok?

Had a great weekend, apart from my sisters causing some drama, but its what they always do!! Saturday was a bit too hot for us on the beach & I got a bit burnt, even with Factor 40!! There was a lot of walking around which didnt do wonders for my SPD, but the bed I slept in was lovely!! Didnt wake up all stiff like I usually do, just couldnt fit the mattress in the car to bring it home unfortunately!!

Ok, Ive read through, but my brain has turned to mush, so will try & catch up later. Have a fun filled day of washing & cleaning ahead of me, yay!

xx

glad you had a good weekend lisa :D xxx

lush day today took the baby to feed the ducks but he wouldnt throw the bread in lol every time i gave him some to throw in he ate it :rotfl: thank god it wasnt stale :puke: we stayed at the lake for about 2 hours and i burnt  stupidly so worried about plastering factor 50 on the baby i forgot to put some on me  so am glowing red now
got all the decorating stuff to do the bedroom :cheer: so weve started getting that ready filling holes etc and now its thunder and lightning which has cooled this hot hot weather down :D hope its not in for the week though :(

spd is good today again considering i walked round the lake for 2 hours  so not going to push it now am off to the sofa to get my feet up and rest and watch the soaps hope everyones ok its gone really quiet on here :( xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Sorry you got burnt Rach, hope its not too sore? You dont realise that when you are pregnant, you burn so easily. Hope you are resting!!

Think I may have overdone the cleaning!! My ankles & feet have swollen so much, its definately not a pretty sight!! So I have my feet up whilst eating a big bowl of trifle!!

Hey ladies!! :D
Hope your all ok!? I havent been able to get on my net was off :( But im back now yay!! haha
Its funny my SPD and hip pain havent been even half as bad over the last few days?! Do you think it has something to do with the heat? I have no idea why its not so bad but I aint complaining! Its great!! :cheer: :cheer:
I spent far too much time in the sun and I have come out in a rash :( Its horrid! all over my face! Little red rash spots! And its itchy but I dont itch it and its a lottle sore and feels like my face is pulled tight! :( Also on my hands and arms! :( Im going to a walk in centre later to see if they can give me something to help!

Ooooh lea that sounds like prickly heat, I got that a few weeks back when I went on holiday. Its horrible and itchy. It definatley has something to do with the heat and I got a spray in boots which helped a bit.

OOh did you!? I think I will pop up and get some! Whats it called? Do I just ask the pharmacist!?

 hi all hope you are all well xxxxxxxxx

lea sorry you got prickly heat hope it clears soon  my spd not been so bad this week either but then im off work this week so it could be that xxx

well we are decorating our bedroom and its taking forever gaz is doing the ceiling hes been up there 1 hour not even done half of it and stopped 3 times for a ciggy  im doing the walls (as far as i can reach without stretching) done half in 20 mins now bloody waiting for him to hurry up so we can move the furniture to the other side its going to take all day just to paint 1 coat at this rate
really fed up just checked the carpet fund and all we have so far for that room is 70 pound and we need about 200 (its a huge room) can see we will be walking on floorboards for at least a month :(

anyway enough ranting got to give christopher his dinner before i go back to painting poor dab is left to watch dvds from his playpen at the moment as we couldnt get anyone to watch him while we painted

hope your all having a good 1 xxxxxxxxxxx

I sympathise rach - I detested painting our nursery the other week and it took 6 coats. DH had to do all the high bits too and it took forever.

Hope your rash is better lea.

I can't believe how tired i still am and I go back to work 2 weeks tomorrow. I'm worrying about it already.
I've also got a family situation that is really bothering me and time is running out to do something about it - it involves my brother who is about to emigrate. He hasn't been in touch with me for 18 months, doesn't return my calls, ignored my 30th, knows I am pg but hasn't called, and in fact hasn't even told me himself he is emigrating.
My parents hear from him slightly more often but they feel very out of the loop too with regards to him leaving. He has a psycho wife which doesn't help. My mum thinks she must have done something wrong etc and is all upset. Anyway, he hadn't even told my folks when exactly they would be leaving, and last week we all got an invite to their leaving party through the post. I just think it will be really awkward, I'm p'd off with him and I don't want to go. Also, before he sods off and we probably never see him again, I would like to point out to him exactly how he has treated my parents, never mind me, as he is 38 years old ffs and needs to face up to a few home truths!!

Phew - sorry - that turned into a bit of a rant. But I don't know what to do about it.

It was my 2nd wedding anniversary lastnight so we went out for a nice Indian meal. I ate so much my bump grew (put a pic in tummy pics) but today it has been a bit sore :( Maybe the baby doesn't like spice!
I'm really having trouble sleeping now. Every time I have to turn over I totally wake up - and this seems to happen a lot. It's hard to get comfy. Anyone got any tips?

Can't believe how long this post is turning out to be! I hope I don't kill the thread like i normally do :) (or maybe i'm a bit paranoid)

Hope everyone is ok
xxx

awww hun was going to read and run  till i saw the last bit  im awful guilty of reading and running this week been so so busy by time ive read ive not had time to answer :(
hmmm not sure what to say about the brother situation sounds a bit delicate only you can decide what to do there hun but whatever you do try not to let it stress you its not good for the baby    hugs for you and your mum it must be awfully upsetting it sounds like your brother is either a very self centred selfish person or is easily swayed by a very possesive selfish wife maybe a mixture of both :(
personally if it was me i would take his ignoring you as he does not want to be part of the family any more i would stay away from the party and send a simple card wishing luck on his move and a happy healthy life but thats me and i dont know what might have gone on in the past
good luck hun and we are all here if you need to let off steam    xxxxxxx

ps happy wedding anniversarie for yesterday glad you had a nice evening sorry the spice didnt agree :( hope your better later xxxxxxxxxxxx

Aww Rach arent OH such a pain!? I dont get it!? We are the pregnant, shouldnt do too much ones yet we get things done in half the time! My OH annoys me with his ciggy breaks too! QUIT ALREADY FFS!!! hahaha Thats all he ever hears from me!
Im sure watching DVDS in his playpen is great hun! Thats what my 3 had to do when I had to clean up etc when they were younger! They loved it! :D

Kmac! As Rach said only you can really decide what to do with this situation so I wanted to give you these    Try not to get too stressed! He obviously isnt worth it! Im sorry he has distenced himself like this from you and your family!!

Thanks for your comments girls

Sorry your spd isn't looking good babydust. I had never heard of it before you all started talking about it on here! Sounds painful

I still don't know what to do about my brother. I would write to or email him but him and his wife have a joint email address (why???) and I wouldn't want her reading it. I also wouldn't trust her to not delete it without telling him. Same as if i sent him a card or a letter. If she got to it first, he either wouldn't see it or there would be major repercussions..... There was an incident once before where there was lots going on (that's a whole other story!) and I tried to phone him at home. No-one was in so I left a message and she rang me back and was really nasty. I don't know if she ever told him, but I did later on and that is the reason why I refuse to phone his house. But he doesn't answer his mobile.
I had a chat on the phone with my mum earlier. She just wants him to be happy and says her feeling hurt isn't important, only his happiness, and when I'm a parent I will understand. :wall: :wall: I understand that to an extent, but I don't think he has treated my parents well at all and that really annoys me. As for his happiness, I think he is taking his problem (psycho) with him... so good luck to them!
Aaaaaaaaaaaaaargh! Brain hurts!!
It is helping to type it all out though so thanks for reading!!!

Hope everyone is ok. SOrry to go on about myself

Oh no babydust!!!  At the min my hips are stable and its the ligaments causing all the pain too but my physio never mentioned it getting worse at 24 weeks!!!   Oh great! :( I already have the strap thing so better get wearing it! I still do the exercises but I dont know if they are doing much good!? I missed my last app (totally forgot lol) and she discharged me striaght away!! LOL but my mw this morning said keep doing what she told me and if it gets worse and I need crutches then they will re-refer me!
Congrats on you OH stopping smoking! :cheer: My OH said he was going to and has cut right back but still not actually quit! :( Its so annoying! He goes outside but I can still smell it on him when he comes in and it knocks me sick lol!

Kmac have some

Hope you made it in time babydust, fingers crossed it goes away soon.

Thanks for the hugs girls. Apparently brother was at my parents yesterday (at least he remembered mum's birthday) and they gave him my number - again. It's a load of b****cks anyway, as I have texted him plenty times so he at least has my mobile number. Apparently he's having a "difficult" time of it. Pah. If he does phone me I will tell him exactly what I think - but nicely of course! Although my mum doesn't want me to, but i'll sort that out afterwards! It's giving me a headache!!!!
I don't know if I'm hoping he phones or not  I wrote down everything i want to say so will keep it handy just in case!

ANyone having cravings?? I just ate 3 boiled eggs :) And I have started on a big bottle of orange tango. Normally I don't bother with fizzy drinks (unless they have a vodka in - those were the days!).
How is everyone feeling?
xx

 hi all hope your all having a good day :D xxxxxxx

lea def get wearing the belt your physio gave you it will hopefully stop any bones from slipping out of place i have to agree with babydust on my last 2 pregnancies i had some pain at around 15/16 weeks which seemed to ease around 20/22 weeks and then came back with a vengence at about 26 weeks and was unbearable till i had the babies i couldnt even sleep it was awful :(

babydust well done on painting the nursery :cheer: hope your sickness has eased a little now  well done on your o/h giving up the cigs    xxxxxx
kmac sorry your having to go through all this hun  try and not let it get to you if you can (i know easier said than done) but you need to be stress free now try doing something to take your mind off it for a few hours even if its just playing some chill music and lighting some candles and having a long soak in the bath xxxxxxxxx

for anyone who has been worried i contacted sally via pm as shes not been on for well over a week everything is ok with her and the baby she cant get on line as her internet is playing up but she used her mums and sent me a pm back saying alls ok and she will be back as soon as she can get back on line xxxxxxx

:( I dont want it to get worse! :( Looks like most of my xmas shopping will be done online too lol! Though sitting in this chair too long hurts me even at the best of times lol! I think I will get a new chair first! Or maybe a laptop again so I can sit on the sofa!
I have been feeling really sick today too BD! It kept coming up to my mouth but not out of it luckily lol! I tried some soup and it helped a little!

Hi girls, am sitting with my feet up as we went shopping with my parents this morning & my SPD is blooming sore now!! Lea, get that belt on!!!!!! I have to wear a tuba grip folded 3 times over & my support belt & use crutches, its sooooo uncomfortable (boo hoo!!) I think my pelvis has moved again, havent got another physio appt till the 14th so may have to see if they can fit me in as an emergency. Have my eldest daughters 6th birthday tommorrow so we are taking her out for a treat then she is having a party on Sat, so a busy few days for me!!
