thanks girls sorry to be such a moaner
we are hoping the consultant will tell us the sex 2moro but if not we have another scan the anomaly (sp) scan 13 days after so if we dont find out 2moro we only have another 13 days to wait and then another consultant growth scan 2 weeks after that so 3 scans in 4 weeks we are bound to find out at 1 of them
am really excited about seeing the babies again but still have that awful fear
i still find scans really difficult as thats how they discovered jamie had died at 34 weeks and it haunts me still when i have a scan i cant even look at the screen till the consultant tells me all is well
im going to try and get to bed early tonight bath warm milk and try and get a decent nights sleep trying to stay positive scan appointment is 10:45 but i got to see heamatologist straight after for a review and to get my sexy stockings so prob wont be home till about 1 or 2 o clock will let you all know what we are having hopefully and try and post some pics of the scan before gaz goes to work at 6

I've had a bit of a minging start to the day. I have 2 cats - one of them is quite often responsible for piles of feathers round the garden but the other doesn't show much interest. DH said he hadn't seen this cat before he went to work which I thought was odd because he wouldn't miss his breakfast so i was actually a bit concerned. I was just walking past the door to the spare room and i saw him. With a bird. Poor wee thing was still alive. The cat didn't know what to do with it though - I suppose I should be glad he hadn't chewed it or anything - but it was still twitching So I got my rubber gloves on and some plastic bags I thought i should maybe kill it properly first but i couldn't
What a crap start to the day!!

What's everyone up to today?? I'm doing some housework this morning, then I'm meeting my friend for lunch at the local garden centre.

Oh - yesterday I looked after my friends twins for an hour. They are 4 months old. It was quite scary!! It was only just as my friend came back they both started sceaming at the same time though so i was quite pleased. Up until then they were fairly quiet!!

thanks girls just got back now all is fab twins growth is perfect and they did the scan on the arteries leading in and out of the womb (due to clotting on jamie) the blood flow is perfect on the one going in and about average on the one going out which they said was excellent my bp was 120/60 and urine sample fine seen my heamatologist too and she was happy with everything not got to see her for 8 weeks now so all went really well have got scan photos but not scanned into pc yet i cant do it as the scanner is dodgy and gaz gone to bed as he worked nights last night and tonight but he promised he will do it 2moro xxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi girls, sorry havent been on for a few days, life is just a bit chaotic!! We are going to Wales for the weekend tommorrow with my family, which will be our 1st family holiday as every other year something has always come up so we couldnt go. Therefore everyone is so excited here right now!! Just hoping the weather stays nice for us!!

Rach, so glad the scan went well!!! Yay!! Did you find out the sex yet??

Babydust, well done for getting stuff sorted in the house, I have so much to do, but no energy.

we did ask the sex but they said they couldnt tell today and they would be able to see better after 20 weeks i think personally they can see as i know they dont like to tell you till after the anomaly scan which i have in 13 days time and if not then we have another scan with the consultant 12 days after the anomaly scan so we are bound to find out at 1 of them so at the moment we are still none the wiser but they are ok which is my main concern i dont mind waiting a few more days xxxxxxxxx

lol lea your worse than me i think ive more or less convinced myself i cant have girls as o/h has had 1 son with his ex and ive had 1 son with my ex and now weve had 2 sons together so we have 4 sons between us we dont seem to be able to make girls lol but boys are lovely and i dont mind in the least the only reason i want to know is so i can buy these poor babies some clothes that are not white or cream think mum is convinced we are having boys too as she went out last week and bought a pale blue and white checked moses basket (we still have christophers which is yellow and cream) so we only needed 1 lol but if we have 2 girls now 1 will have to sleep in blue bloody mothers just wont wait a few weeks lol xxxxxxxxx

Rach glad to hear your scan went well - we have to pay for a seperate scan here in Shropshire if we want to know the sex.... they will do it after 20 weeks and it costs £50!! This is at the NHS hospital - we also have a private scanning place where we are having our nuchal scan next week and they charge £65 but the standard of their equipment is so much better and you can take 5 people with you so we are thinking if all is well next week we will make an evening of it with my mum and Dave's mum and dad and then go out for tea after to a lovely pub just down the road.....

Aww you know I thought that Rach!! My OH has lots of children lol! He has 11 children now (including this one)!! His first was a girl, then his 3rd but all the others are boys! So after him having 5 boys then we had our two, I was sure I would never have a girl! I thought he just stopped making the girl sperm haha but then I had Lucy! And now I have this LO!!

Sorry Ive not been about much lately - been very hectic! Not sure how much I will be on for the next week either.......
We are moving this weekend - we are in a one bed flat at the moment and we wanted to move before I get too fat to help! haha - we are moving to a lovely house with 2 bedrooms (and a garden which will be a great bonus for us!) and so we will have so much more space (just as well I think as I have already bought a load of baby stuff and I think I will be unstoppable after our next scan at the beginning of Aug!)

I felt my first proper kick at the weekend (and I saw it too - it was so wonderfully weird!) and since then Junior has been a right little wriggler - its so strange to go from feeling only slight little rumblings that I wasnt sure whether they were just wind or not to feeling and seeing full on kicks!

Anyway - all is good in the Munky camp at the moment (Im just tired out from all the bloody packing - and to think Ive got to get to the new house and spend a load more time unpacking - wooo how fun ). I hope everyone else is ok. Rach Im glad to hear the twins and you are doing well. Who else has got scans soon?

well got my last shift in work today then a whole week off its going to be fab gaz is off too so we can spend some time together thinking about decorating our room ready for when the babies get here as after 6 months it will be the twins and christophers room we need a complete bedroom swap as we only have 3 rooms so the twins and christopher will be in the biggest room me and gaz are moving to lukes room and luke moving to christophers room hes not happy its a very small room and he says he will be like harry potter under the stairs so we have to redecorate all of upstairs going to do our room in neutral colours for all the babies then we have to change lukes room for us as its navy and i cant sleep in navy and theres no way luke will sleep in classic winnie the pooh so busy few months ahead for us lol

sorry still not done the scan pics def sort it today will get gaz to scan them while im in work and il post them when i get home xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hello all...

Hope everyone is ok.

I feel a bit yuk today. Didn't sleep very well as i am worrying about stuff (not all baby related!) and now I feel queasy and dizzy.
On a plus side I got the results back from the blood tests so the baby is low risk for Downs, Edwards and spina bifida. One less thing to worry about now!

Hope everyone is surviiving the heat. It's rubbish isn't it? And i hope those of you with sore hips aren't finding it too bad.
I'm sure there was lots more I was going to say but my head is all fuzzy!!

well we sorted all the garden out today and its been lovely to actually be able to sit on my patio for the 1st time this year off out 2moro to see if can find a cheap patio set and a parasol also getting the stuff 2moro to decorate the bedroom as not got that yet been too hot to go anywhere but really going to make some effort 2moro then 2moro afternoon im taking the baby to the local boating lake for a walk so he can see the ducks he loves it there
not feeling too bad today spd okish the heat is getting to me and im unable to eat hardly anything but apart from that i feel pretty ok xxx
