My friend told me she has always been told you cant eat nuts when pregnant, this is my 6th baby and i have never heard of it before, I asked the midwife and she said no nuts are fine, but so many of the mums at school have also heard about not eating nuts, has anyone else heard this?

When i was pregnant with my LO they advised you not to eat peanuts but that was it, this time round it has changed again and it is now safe to eat them, the advice changes so quickly x x

They're safe to eat aslong as there's no family history of nut allergies xxx

i got told no nuts aswell with my first :s supose it just keeos changing like the liver thing!

Just like what Emma said, as long as there's no family history of nut allergies!

I think it also depends on where you live as to what you are told! Our MWs tell us not to eat peanuts especially is there is anyone close who has an allergy (my sis) so i have been told to avoid all nuts and all products with nuts in till baby is here!

xx
