the last book i read was the 5th horseman about a doctor murdering patient was really good actually

Read it years ago but it always sticks in my mind, try "Protect & Defend" by Richard North Patterson.

Synopsis
'She was a girl, really, with short red hair and a waif-like slimness. But despite the flowered dress she wore, her belly had begun to show. Immobile, the girl gazed at the clinic as though it were a thousand miles away.' The young woman is Mary Ann Tierney. She is fifteen years old. Within days her name will be known to millions across America, her court case a television must-watch for everyone from the President downwards. As Mary Ann takes on her own parents and the constitutional law of the United States in a desperate bid to protect her future right to bear children, the ramifications of 'the Tierney case' bring a threat to the new President, Kerry Kilcannon, to his nominee for Chief Justice, Caroline Masters, and to his main rival for the Presidency, Senator Chad Palmer. All have dangerous secrets in their past, secrets that would not only threaten careers, but bring death and tragedy to innocent lives.

Very powerful and moving book.

A man called Dave & A Child called IT?

Have you read 'Please, Daddy No' by Stuart Howarth? The Little Prisoner is also a great book along the same lines but cant remember the author.

The little prisoner is excellant. I love books like this. I don't know why  (Author: Jane Elliott)
I've just finished 'Behind close doors' by Jenny Tomlin (martine mccutcheon's mum) shocking!

I havent read that one but will defo get a copy of that if its good.

U gotta read Stuarts book 'Please Daddy No' I know him & he's so brave! Its an excellent book.

I think I will..........just looking at his website now. Seems like my kind of book. I love true life stories where people come good from a bad situation. I liked to be shocked, I don't know why. My OH never gets why I read these books. (I had a pretty traumatic childhood myself so maybe that's got something to do with it! )

I recently read 'Piece of Cake' by Cupcake Brown which I could not put down. I also love the 'Princess' trilogy books by Jean Sassons (no 1's the best)

I love reading that kind of book too hun, for the simple fact that in some way it puts your own life into perpective and makes you grateful for what you've got not what you havent!

Stuarts paperback book is out this week and he said its only £3 so bargain for u there!! He's just writing his next one called finding stuart.

He's set up a charity called safe (which i designed the website for):
