Never mind being preggers, my jeans could do with one of these anyway

Just wondered if anyone uses them them / has used them and if they are worth a shot in months to come??

I plan to live in leggings and long vests as things progress but I am curious!

xxxxxxxx

I loop a hair bobble over the button and through the hole now, it extends the jeans to a comfy, wearable size without digging into my bump x

I did the same as Jay Jay until that didn't work then I invested in maternity trousers and jeans.

I figure that the earlier you buy them the more use you get from them!!

At the advice of a friend I went directly for maternity clothes as she said I don't see the point of buying maternity clothes and wearing them only 3 months if I can wear them 5 and be comfortable.
I got a pair of jeans that will fit the whole pregnancy, a pair of trousers for work and a pair of leggings and some pajamas to be comfy at home.
I didn't buy any maternity tops yet as I am not sure how hot the summer will be in Norway and didn't want to go for the wrong kind. ( last summer we wore winter clothes the whole summer time but a couple of weeks...)
Oh and my mom bought me some maternity panties to try and they are so comfy that I don't know why I didn't wear those before lol..
I had those button extensors too ( before getting pregnant as I refused to not wear my favorite jeans after the Christmas sweeties lol) but though I fit in my jeans using those the level of. Comfort with using the maternity ones was incomparable so once I tried them I never took them off...
Btw those leggings are so comfy that I am keeping a pair of those even after I have the baby

Lol Hope81!

My mum bought me a pair of maternity leggings from Next for £12! Been wearing them since 11-12 weeks! (my bump was a tiny bit too small for them at that stage, so I used to tuck them in my bra!!) but hell they are the comfiest things in the world!!

I love the idea of maternity clothes. However, I'm one of these girls that lives in leggings and superdry tshirts, strappy tops and hi-top trainers and stuff lol.
All the maternity clothes I've looked at are too mumsy for me :(.

So I plan to live in linen trousers and maxi dresses for the summer! Found some lush maternity linens on eBay for a tenner, brand new, and they look really comfy!
I'm also restricted to boob tubes for the summer to, as I'm getting married in July and don't want strap marks! (So I'm hoping when my bumps bigger, it holds up my boobs so I can wear strapless bras ;) lol)

That is soooo true, maternity stuff can be really mumsy/frumpy - it looks great in the pics online but when you try it on, its not so nice or doesnt flatter your bump in the same way.

I used a hair bobble too from about 5-14 weeks but I've been in maternity trousers since 14 weeks. My bump wasnt really big enough for them until 16-17 weeks, but now they are sooo comfy. I've gone for the under the bump type. I got some skinny jeans in the Mothercare sale down from £40 to £12 woop woop.

I think its probably better ot spend the £10 on a pair of decent leggings then the belly band extenders as they'll have limited use and you can see them if your top rides up making it look like you're flashing your pants :rotfl:

Does anyone use the bump bands too?! They're like a mini boobtube for your bump. Whats all that about!?!

My problem is I am short (5ft 1in) so I imagine it will be hard to get decent fitting maternity jeans?? Hell it's hard enough to get decent fitting jeans normally?

I should be OK with leggings - hopefully we have a mild autumn and I can do all seasons in leggings LOL!!

Next have a good range of maternity jeans online in various styles and shapes including under the vino and over the bump.

Prob worth ordering a few pairs to try. I've always preferred over the bump ones as the ones that go under always dug in to my belly

Bump bands are great stop muffin top showing after you have had baby and are really useful when breast feeding in a t-shirt I loved 'em , There in the drawer defo coming out again this time round.xx

I'm afraid of getting a sweaty belly in a bump band x

I do the same as jayjay but i love the days were i wear leggings there just so comfy

I got the Next maternity jeans at 6 weeks .. they do them in petite.

I got the ones with the extendable sides so they will last me the whole pregnancy and they were only about £25 so not a bad price, I got the skinny ones and the bootcut.

I'm 5'2" and mine fit me fine, a little long without shoes on but I don't wear heels anymore.

I find that 30" jeans are still a little long on me? (30" being 'short' length in most high street shops!)

Maybe I just have really stumpy legs

Ordered some jeggings today and a few long vests

xxxxxxx
