We're going through boys names in baby book and Beck is one OH has written down. I actually don't mind it, although tbh don't think we'd have the guts to name lo it.

Just wondered what everyone thought?

It could remind you of Becky I guess. First time I've ever heard of it.

Makes me think of beckham or a nickname for rebecca.

It sounds like it's unfinished, like it's supposed to have something on the end of it - like Beckham.

Plus it rhymes with a million other words so when you say it, people won't be sure whether your baby is called Beck or Peck or Deck or Check because it isn't a word that springs to mind as a name to me anyway

Nothing offensive about it though

He was going through the book and only got to E...so what he has written down is as follows lol (my thoughts next to).

William (ok end of alphabet but first he has written lol) - quite like, not 100% on
Aston - not for me, reminds me of JLS

Adler - never heard of!
Bradley - quite like this

Edwin - no, but is my cousin's babys name so shows how much he listens lol.

Surprised by his choices so far. Like that he's thinking outside the box. I don't know if we'll ever agree. I need to write some down.

I like Corban, isn't that the name of Bruce Willis's character in The Fifth Element? (Sorry, am a scifi geek). I'm sure he was called Corban Dallas, or Corbin or Korban, hmmm, maybe not, after all MJ's character was called LeeLoo or something!

There is something nice and strong about Adam, first ever man and all that.

Adam was my no 1 runner for a wee while there. Corban isn't bad At least it's different. I'd quite like something a bit different, or at least not so common anymore, but idk, it's so difficult!

I just can't imagine a baby called Bruce lol. Nothing wrong with it though.

Tbh, Callum is my fave I think atm and that's pretty popular up here

OH mentioned Reuben yesterday, which again, surprised me. Am quite pleased he's taking an interest. He said Riley, which I quite like.

It's all very well having a book to read names from and write them down, but you have to say them out loud and with your surname before sticking them on the list

I much prefer your choices Laura, like Callum and William and Adam

I do like Bradley too.

There is a theme with them too - two/three syllables and ends in an M so maybe look into that?
