my children are called.......my eldest daughter is called Raven-Iris and my second daughter is called Skyla-Grace and my little boy is named after my late grandad Ralph-Timothy. i am pregnant again now and we love names like Rogue,Storm and Eden for boys names and for girls we like Star,Vixen and Shadow. i LOVE unusual names. any more ideas wil be apreciated.xx

I'm all for unusual names, but if at all possible I would avoid naming my children after X-Men!! The ridicule at school would be hard, I hear the mean things these kids say to each other every day, even with relatively normal names. And I got ridiculed for my name at school and it's not even that weird!!

For the OP - I agree that Maverick is catchy if a little cheesy, but as long as you could have a choice of shortened names I'm sure they'll get on fine!
Nova is nice, but not seeing it as a shortened version of November, I'd be tempted to have Nova with a one-syllable middle name instead of having a longer first name shortened to Nova.

i'm medium to those names tbh. I prefer beatrice and dexter :)

How about Nova? That means star :) Not keen on Maverick but that's personal choice rather than me finding it weird sounding.

xx
