Myself and my partner are really struggling with names, as I like certain one's but he doesnt like them and visa versa.

We both like Finlay for a boy, what do you all think?
And
We both like Teaghan for a girl, what do you all think? x

I actually really like Finley, it was on my list but hubby hated it.

I also like Teaghan kind of, but i don't like it only being able to be shortened to "Tea".

If i had to choose, i'd prefer Regan or Reaghan.

I have a god daughter called Taymar what do you think of that? I love both of your name suggestions too. xXx

Love Finley but not too keen on teaghan. x x

Teaghan? You're kidding! It sounds mostly like a surname (is there a footballer called Brian Teegan?) or maybe a dogs name, or worst case senario an American trailer park name.

oops, sorry, that was maybe coming on a bit strong, but seriously...... don't!

On the other hand - love Finlay, especially if you are Scottish?

Really Louise, really? After President Regan perhaps, or would it be after the little girl from the Exorcist? Both lovely mental images :eh:

Somebody gag me before i seriously offend :x

Reaghan/Regan reminds him of the exorcist if that's the right film? Dont take offense lol x

I am Scottish and my OH isnt very amused about your comment about the name teaghan tbh, thought that was a little thoughtless, especially if anyone has a child called that and your saying about it being things like a "dogs" name and an "american trailer park" name

Dont you think your being very offensive and quite ignorant with your comments?:eh:

I really like them both and don't think there's anything wrong with Teaghan at all!

Me too, Teaghan spelt like that for the simple fact of just to make it a little different to the normal spelling x

well thats true i love the name teaghan but also the shortening of tea BUT baby could be 'T' rather than 'tea'... hope i didnt offend hun... genuinely didnt mean to :hugs: xx

It's so hard to come to a decision, if you've found names you both like and agree on you should stick to them :)

Oops, yes, sorry, totally insensitive. I promise to go and boil my head

Now I can see why everyone is always so nice, a bit of honesty definitely a bad idea! I will not say what I really think (am writing it out 50 times). Seriously though, sorry, it wasnt meant to offend, I was just feeling very forthright

There's a difference between being honest and being offensive.. Teegan was actually a potential name choice for me when I was expecting, good to know if I had of had a girl and named her that she would be dubbed a "dog" and "trailer trash"

I LOVE both names x
