Have been a bit lame with keeping up with posts these last few days, seem to have missed this......I really hope Jakob is feeling better Cassi

Hi, just got an update from Cassi, she didn't have a phone charger. They are still in hospital but Jakob finally started to feed again last night. He still has to be woken for feeds and still a bit yelllow from the jaundice. He has a tube in his nose because he had to be tube fed because he was so poorly. Hoping to be let out tomorrow.

Cassi has mastitis and a womb infection aswell. On antibiotics but still clotting and her stomach still hurts. They have told her if it gets worse she might need surgery to remove excess so she's hoping it doesn't.

I had that after Jack i was in alot of pain and felt like i had really really bad flu because of the infection they ended up finding out it was placenta that was left in and they had to remove it. If they had left it longer i would have been seriously poorly.

Got another message from Cassi this morning...

Jakob's jaudince levels were up again this morning and the nurse came in telling Cassi how yellow he was. She really didn't want to hear that He us the same weight as yesterday. Still below birth weight yet he is eating loads now. Cassi is very fed up and doesn't get where she is going wrong. She doesn't think they will be home today after all

I've reassured her as much as I can. I've asked how her tummy is now so I'll let you know if she replies.

I have let her know hun, I said maybe Jakob is taking all the milk to get better and not bigger at the minute. I hope he starts to pick up soon
