I can see it on my phone with sunlight on the screen and without enlarging it!!

Also, boots have frer at £10.49 for 3 tests instead of 2 at the moment 😉

I dont know, I would always prefer a choice. I do find it interesting to know if I possibly conceived even if it doesn't stick. Im generally just too impatient as well. Xxx

I guess it is kind of interesting to know.

I'd always wondered if I just have problems with implanting but no idea what can be done about it?
My last ivf I had a top grade Embryo put back in and it didn't want to stick. The first round was a pretty low grade but still had some chance..

But now that we had one that did stick (even if it wasn't for long!) I'm just not sure anymore!

So nothing much to see on this frer? Faint whisper of a line perhaps but I really cant be sure if it has any colour?
Will try again in the morning xxx

Yes its interesting to research whether there's anything we can do to improve the chances? I tried aspirin, but isn't the womb lining of importance? Xxx

Ahh thanks GG I got the frers. Never have much luck with them but can only try because a line on them seems like the holy grail! Lol.
Would help if I knew what dpo I am but presume its a decent time about now. Where are you up to now? Xxx

I think I see something you should try fmu
good luck!

Didn't really consider it could be my lining instead!
but then we did manage it without trying any crazy diets or vitamins or whatever 'helps' soooo I really don't know!

I'm testing with a cheapie tomorrow, 9dpo so probably completly pointless lol but I've got so many that it doesn't matter I guess! xx

Ahh, those cheapies would be gone in a couple of days if I had them in the house! Lol. 9dpo is a fairly decent place to start?
Yes the womb lining needs to get to a certain thickness I think, one of the things they measured in my transvaginal scan was the thickness of my womb lining. Need to read more about it but I think hormones cause it to thicken over the cycle and then is shed on AF.
Xxx

Lol yeah they're pretty addicting! I was doing them everyday watching my hcg drop.
I'm not really expecting much if anything but figure I'll try it's just one test.

Yes it usually happens naturally, but I think from what I've read foods high in protein will help thicken it too.
xx

TT, I'm 9dpo today but no real symptoms to speak of now so I think what I did have was just a progesterone rush after ovulation. Not at all convinced about this month now. I did get some frer's and I'll do one in the morning but really am expecting a stark white nothing!!

How are you feeling?

Hi ladies

I'm new to the forum, I've read through all the messages on this thread so far, are the dates everyone picks the date they intend to test?

I had the implant out approx. 2 months ago and I've just started reading up on ovulation etc, I never knew there was such a small window each month to conceive! It's been really eye opening and the OH has been a bit shocked by my sudden militant approach, poor thing.

I think I'm 7DPO and was intending to test on 19th which is 10DPO with a first response test, is that far too early?

So glad to have found this forum and to find that other women share my thoughts x

Good luck for the morning GG xx

Sparrow, I think it is the date most intend to test but some end up testing earlier of course lol
I put myself down for the end of the month as wasn't sure I'd ovulate following miscarriage but I feel for sure I did so I'll just be testing every few days or whenever until either a bfp or af gets here.
10dpo with a frer should be fine yes, good luck :D xx

Sparrow. Yes the dates are either testing dates or at due dates depending on how patient we all are. 10dpo is a good place to start for an early test but please don't think you are definitely out of luck until AF (aunt Flo or period) is here as depending how low your hcg was to start with depends on how quickly it doubles and therefore shows on a test.

Omg though... if I am not pregnant this month but I now have to go through this much boob pain every month I am going to go mad. They hurt like they did when I was breastfeeding. General aches and then the stabbing nipple pain. Ouch

Honestly I dont feel pregnant at all. Feel like a normal mid cycle day, no sore heavy boobs or bloating, no AF symptoms either. But I've been reading that these fluoxetine antidepressants can affect pms symptoms and luteal phase length.
I will probably get AF soon, faint lines being the standard quick chemical for me.
Will be doing a frer with you in the morning though! If its testing time I will definitely be testing on any off chance miracle lol!
I did feel pregnant a week ago or so, but could have been ovulation hormones.
We will both see in the morning eh? Good luck 🍀 xxx

Yes the boob pain sounds like my usual symptom and the stabbing nipple lol!
When are you going to test? Xxx

Thanks for the reassurance ladies, I'll keep you posted with my result on Saturday, it'll be the first ever pregnancy test I've taken and I'm 32! I'll try not to be too disappointed if it's negative, I know it's early days and these things can take time.

Fingers crossed for you all testing in the morning xx

TT - me too. Felt very much like the early days of the last two pregnancies for a few days but now nothing whereas symptoms continued til I lost the last two. I am getting mild boobache but I'm thinking nothing of it...even had a beer tonight. I wonder if the two chemicals have just boosted my hormones or their effect on my body as, being 38 and never having any af symptoms since I was 14...if I'm not pregnant this month, then I'm probably experiencing my very first period symptoms building up!

Babyscotcher, really hope you get a nice surprise bfp.

Sparrow...some implantations don't happen until 12dpo so definitely don't be too upset if you get a negative at 10dpo.

Good luck everyone. Xxx
