***August 2018 Testing Thread***

Is your period due crumble? Sometimes, especially in the first tri the hormones can fluctuate. So it could be that.

But, when I tested early and the lines never progressed it did end up in me miscarrying at 5wks. But I had been spotting on and off for days.

I hope this isnt the case for you hun. As they if there's no flow your ok. Xx

My period is due on the 20th ......I am not bleeding at the moment.....I don't know what to think, I just feel I want to cry....it is Saturday I can't even go to the doctor

Don't panic crumble, just take another test each morning lile you have been doing. Remember this is still early days and you haven't actually missed your period yet. There's a strong chance that your hcg levels aren't at a point where they are always consistent yet. Give your body a chance to settle. If by Monday the lines are still not increasing, then go to the gp. Also remember that the digital tests need a very high hcg level to produce a 'pregnant'. Stay positive and let's hope it's nothing but a dip in your levels <3

Thank you girls....I will wait, there isn't much else I can do....

Unfortunately there's not... we are always waiting for something in this process. But let's hope for the best!
I was due on yesterday so I'm officially 1 day late. Itching to get home and test! But also nervous and scared!

Keeping everything crossed for you, Crumble

Good luck on testing HLouise!

I thought I saw a shadow of a line on a cheapie this morning but can’t catch it in a photo. Will be doing a FRER before I leave for the in laws tomorrow. I’m about 9dpo going by OPK but period due on Wednesday going by regular cycles (never been late before besides being pregnant last time) so who knowssssss

I found a FrER test in my box. I can see the faintest line that showed up with the control line. Either this is the meanest fucking indent in the world or this is the start of a positive...:shock:

It can’t be an evap if it showed up alongside the control line right?!

It sounds like the start of a positive!! If it’s got colour to it and showed up within 10 mins or so definitely not an evap! Oooh good luck!

Looks like a positive to me!! FX for you xx

I would just be cautious with that result hun, it’s unusually close to the control line so it could be a faulty test, fx it’s good news though! X

Call me psychopath but I decided to open the digital one and see what the strip in it would show....and this is what I found: two stripes, one of them shows a basic line plus one that to me look positive! I don't know what the second strip is but looks got just the second line on it if that make sense.....
I can't upload the picture, again :x

I’ve heard multiple people on a TTC board say that a digital will always have two lines, but I have absolutelt NO idea if that is true as I’ve never opened one myself.

I really really hope it works out for you ❤️

....aslo I been vomiting (tmi) but can be because I am so nerve racking now....

Crumble - I've read the same thing. That the digi tests will always have 2 lines whether positive or negative.

Easier sad than done I know but try not to worry. As said, it could just been the fluctuating hormones giving off the odd results. You have no spotting, no cramps etc it's still good. Sending you lots of love and hugs xx

Actually Hun, having looked at everyone else’s FR tests it seems the lines are always close, so ignore my last

Digitals always have two lines don’t they?

Equally digital tests are a lot less sensitive than dye tests. So you’d get two lines on a frer long before you’d get a pregnant result on a digital. I reckon it was just too early for a digital crumble

I agree with this. I’m keeping everything crossed for you!
