***August 2018 Testing Thread***

3dpo today and feels like three years have passed! it's dragging lol Temp is still up slightly this morning but FF won't identify ovulation as I've missed a ton of temps in the cycle so it can't identify a pattern. I had a look at my old chart from when I got pg, I think I seem a similar pattern in temps (even with all the missing data haha). So, I'm fairly certain cd15 was ovulation day Also I've only just noticed that I'm in the exact same cycle!!! The same month, practically same chart...fingers crossed for same results

AF type symptoms today and the witch is due tomorrow.. fingers crossed she doesnt come.

I did a FR this morning, 100% no line there whatsoever. Not sure if I was surprised or not really, feeling a bit flat about it but at the same time I feel 'aware' of my lower abdomen if that makes sense to anyone? Like I know it's there and a bit cramps. AF due 20th or 21st so guess I won't test again until maybe 19th. Maybe the cramps are my fibroid and cycst saying hello (TMI, sorry). I named them Fred and Cyril, haha.

stupid app sometimes messes up when trying to quote posts, why is that, its so annoying!

Anyway, firstfreaout i wanted to say that you shouldn't be disheartened hunny. It doesnt matter if you caught the beginning or tail end of the surge, as surge is only an indication of impending ovulation. You won't ovulate until 12 - 36 hours after the surge! So as long as you got some bd'ing in after you recieved your positive then your in with a good chance. Your still failry early in dpo and still well within the implantation stage of your cycel, so that could be a factor too.

In my eyes your never out until the witch shows her ugly face. lots of love and baby dust to you xxx

Ah, see I thought it was 12-36 hours from the FIRST positive OPK, but as I wasn't testing throughout my cycle I may have missed what would have been the first pos. (If that makes sense, as the one after the positive OPK was negative)
We BD'd on the 2nd, 3rd, 6th, 8th, and I got a positive OPK on the 9th and a negative OPK on the 10th. I don't know if that'll have done the trick or not!

Thanks for the reply! We travel to see the in laws on Sunday so I may test before we leave. Period is due on Wednesday but as I seem to have O'd on CD16-17 it might not show until the 25th... Who knows! I usually have a 28 day cycle but as I've never monitored ovulation before I have no idea if CD16-17 is normal or late for me to still get my period on CD29...

Sounds like you did plenty of BD to catch that egg - good luck!

Ok so I am on CD19 after a MC, my temps aren’t showing I’ve ovulated and my OPKs have all seemed to have been negative, although I did get one which was slightly darker than the other negatives but still not as dark as the control line. I’ve had bloating these last couple of days and lower back pain... I’m beginning to think I’m not ovulating this month after my MC. Has anyone else had this or had similar temps? It’s driving me insane

Ah I know absolutely nothing about temps! If I haven't caught this month I might have to start doing some research in to it because it looks confusing as hell

I have the worst lower back pain today! It's actually agony! Af due tomorrow and i still have on and off cramps! Praying she never shows... trying not to think about it and stay extra positive but I'm not sure if the back pain my be linked to due af :/ never had it before but who knows!!!

louise stay positive hun if you have never had back pain with AF then its a good sign
