Aria or Arya

Hi all,

Just looking for some opinions on the above really. I know technically they are different names but I would pronounce them both the same I think so just wondering if you would pronounce them differently for each spelling and which you think is the better spelling?

I pronounce them slightly differently

Aria = Ah-ree-ah

Arya = Ar-yah

They're a little different, so if you pronounce it one way and don't want others to get it wrong, choose the spelling wisely! I like Arya better.

I think I like the pronunciation of Aria better however I prefer the spelling of Arya.

Well that's lucky then. You could name him Ari I've met a few boys with that name now.
